The "Year of the Romantic Water Rabbit" signifies a lot of hope for everyone, especially in finding and strengthening relationships this 2023, a feng shui expert said.

Here's what's in store for you: bit.ly/3GVHnb3

KUNG HEI FAT CHOY!!!

Don’t mess with old people, you don’t know what they’re up to.

Time for a little laughter ...
You need to think around "old people". 😅
A tale from the wild, wild West ...

"An old woman walked up and tied her old mule to the hitching post.

As she stood there, brushing some of the dust from her face and clothes, a young gunslinger stepped out of the saloon with a gun in one hand and a bottle of whiskey in the other.

He looked at the woman and laughed,
"Hey old woman, have you ever danced?"

The woman looked up at the gunslinger and said, "No ... I never did dance ... Never really wanted to"

A crowd has gathered as the young gunslinger grinned and said, "Well you old bag, you're gonna dance now!", and started shooting at the old woman's feet.

The old woman prospector - not wanting to have her toes blown off- started hopping around. Many were laughing.
When his last bullet was fired, the gunslinger, still laughing, holstered his gun and turned around to go back into the saloon.

The old woman turned to her pack mule, pulled out a double-barrelled shotgun and cocked both hammers. The loud clicks carried clearly through the desert air, and the crowd immediately stopped laughing.

The gunslinger heard the sounds too, and turned around very slowly. The silence was almost deafening. The crowd watched tensely as he stared at the woman and the large gaping holes of those twin barrels.

The barrels of the shotgun never wavered in her hands as she quietly said, "Son, have you ever kissed a mule's ass?"

The gunslinger swallowed hard and said, "No m'am, but I've always wanted too"

THERE ARE FIVE LESSONS HERE FOR ALL OF US:

1 - Never be arrogant.
2 - Don't waste ammunition.
3 - Whiskey makes you think you're smarter than you are.
4 - Always make sure you know who has the power.
5 - Don't mess with old people; they didn't get old by being stupid."

HEALTHFUL TIPS

20/01/2023

As I look over at you, your eyes beaming,
The beautiful feeling of being loved
By you cascades over my heart..
For in your eyes, I see everything.

My present, past and future,
You have always been and will always be
The one true thing I could believe in
And the love that kept me strong.

On the darkest days and the brightest hours,
You loved me the same throughout it all,
More when I needed it but never less,
Always there for me at every turn.

So, as I take your hand in mine tonight,
Know that you’ve been everything to me-
My reason, my rock, my heart and my soul,
And no matter where the days may fall,
Always know I’ll be loving you to the moon and back.

For there’s no place that I’d rather be
Than in your heart, in your arms
And by your side,
For the rest of my days and beyond.

I love you.

I Love this Japanese Doctor~🤔😊

Q: Doctor, I've heard that cardiovascular exercise can prolong life. Is this true?
A: Heart only good for so many beats, and that's it... Don't waste time on exercise. Everything wear out eventually. Speeding up heart not make you live longer; its like saying you extend life of a car by driving faster. Want to live longer?
Take nap.

Q: Should I reduce my alcohol intake?
A: Oh no. Wine made from fruit. Fruit very good. Brandy distilled wine, that means they take water out of fruity bit so you get even more of goodness that way. Beer also made of grain. Grain good too.
Bottoms up!

Q: What are some of the advantages of participating in a regular exercise program?
A: Can't think of one, sorry.
My philosophy: No pain...good!

Q: Aren't fried foods bad for you?
A: YOU NOT LISTENING! Food fried in vegetable oil.
How getting more vegetable be bad?

Q: Is chocolate bad for me?
A: You crazy?!? HEL-LO-O!! Cocoa bean! Another vegetable!
It best feel-good food around!

Q: Is swimming good for your figure?
A: If swimming good for figure,
explain whale to me.

Q: Is getting in shape important for my lifestyle?
A: Hey! 'Round' is also a shape!

Well... I hope this has cleared up any misconceptions you may have had about food and diets.

And remember:

Finally the Japanese Doctor summed up: Look mister, Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Beer in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride my life was"!!!!!😂
Eat whatever you like because you will still DIE, don't allow motivational speakers deceive you.

1. The inventor of the treadmill had died at the age of 54

2. The inventor of gymnastics died at the age of 57

3. The world bodybuilding champion died at the age of 41

4. The best footballer in the world Maradona, died at the age of 60.

BUT

5. The KFC inventor died at 94.

6. Inventor of Nutella brand died at the age of 88

7. Imagine, cigarette maker Winston died at the age of 102

8. The inventor of o***m died at the age of 116 in an earthquake

9. Hennessey inventor dies at 98.

How did these doctors come to the conclusion that exercise prolongs life?

The rabbit is always jumping up and down but it lives for only 2 years and the turtle that doesn’t exercise at all, lives 400 years.

So, Take some rest, Chill, Stay cool, eat, drink and enjoy your life. You will still die..

Time for a quick laugh!
Oldie but still goodie 😆😆😝😝😝

Last week, we took some friends out to a new restaurant, and noticed that the waiter who took our order carried a spoon in his shirt pocket. It seemed a little strange.

When the waiter brought our water and cutlery, I noticed he also had a spoon in his shirt pocket. Then I looked around and saw that all the staff had spoons in their pockets.

When the waiter came back to serve our soup I asked, "Why the spoon?" "Well, "he explained, "the restaurant’s owners hired Andersen Consulting to revamp all our processes. After several months of analysis, they concluded that the spoon was the most frequently dropped piece of cutlery. It represents a drop frequency of approximately 3 spoons per table per hour. If our staff are better prepared, we can reduce the number of trips back to the kitchen and save 15 man-hours per shift."
As luck would have it, I dropped my spoon and he was able to replace it with his spare. "I’ll get another spoon next time I go to the kitchen instead of making an extra trip to get it right now." I was impressed.

I also noticed that there was a string hanging out of the waiter’s zip on his trousers. Looking around, I noticed that all the waiters had the same string hanging from their flies. So before he walked off, I asked the waiter, "Excuse me, but can you tell me why you have that string right there?"

"Oh, certainly!" Then he lowered his voice. "Not everyone is so observant. That consulting firm I mentioned also found out that we can save time in the rest-room. By tying this string to the tip of you know what, we can pull it out without touching it and eliminate the need to wash our hands, shortening the time spent in the rest-room by 76.39 per cent."

I asked "After you get it out, how do you put it back?"

"Well," he whispered, "I don’t know about the others, but I use the spoon."

😂😅🤣

MY DAILY BREATH
——————————

Reality Is What You Think It
By: Leo Aguilar

Like every human being born into this world of mysteries and uncertainties, I’ve been in a constant search for ways to be peaceful, happy, and fulfilled. In a world awash with ideas, I’ve read philosophies, creeds, religions, worldviews in my pursuit of that elusive goal of “happiness.” I put quotation marks on it because everyone has his own unique definition of that word.

I’ve defined for myself, often with clarity but sometimes vaguely, my own passions and purpose in life and the process I have to go through. And yet somehow, like all humans, who are all too aware of their flaws and frailties, I fall into a negative state when I experience failure—or what I perceive to be failure—and the fear and dejection that come with it. It is a cycle that sometimes feeds on itself, and it grows without your knowing, taking a life of its own and becoming huge enough to make you feel overwhelmed and defeated.

We go through life trying to fight this monster of “falling short of our goal,” “not achieving our purpose,” and “not being enough.” We struggle in finding weapons to overcome it. I grew up with Christian beliefs, but I’ve explored Stoicism, Buddhism, and various secular philosophies, taking time to read expansively in my quest for answers to my questions. All these diverse ideas and concepts, which seem mystical and strange and otherworldly, come full circle and converge into one enlightening summary: the answer is all within ourselves. All these words: happiness, peace, balance, fulfillment, meaning, purpose, passion, goals, values, dharma, ikigai, etc, are all interconnected by one unifying idea: they exist in that inner space within our mind and heart. They are all defined by our intentions of how we relate to our world.

We’ve all wrestled with this perennial question and wondered why we often feel like we’re just being sucked helplessly into this maelstrom of life. Our thoughts and feelings are often carried and swept away by the currents of that which we resign ourselves to: that seemingly unstoppable force called destiny, to which we quickly yield control and about which we usually feel helpless. Our undoing is that we mistakenly view our negative reactions for reality, and that by virtue of that belief it is immutable.

The reality of our world is a product of our perceptions as well as introspections, but these thoughts and emotions don’t have to be random accidents or cruel coincidences. The great thinkers and philosophers, from the Buddhists to the Stoics, aver that we don’t have to be helpless victims of circumstances. We can train our minds to discover that which is often unseen or obscure, such us our hidden skills, resilience and abilities to withstand challenges, and even transform these challenges from a disadvantage to an advantage. We can find benefits from these trials. We can learn lessons and gain wisdom from tests. We can develop strength by identifying and overcoming our weakness. Such discoveries can happen only if we intentionally explore as well as create that inner landscape. We have the means and the power, the spirit and the wisdom to shape and build the kind of world in which we hope to exist.

This power does not come intuitively, reflexively or naturally. Your power can be realized only by recognizing it first. You cannot change most events, but you can change how they affect you and how you interact with them! It’s as simple as that, and yet we have to be reminded about this power in order to recognize it, rehearse it, and then ultimately realize it. I call it my 4 R’s of empowerment: remind, recognize, rehearse, realize.

We can truly make things happen. We can do and undo our “reality” with the power of our mind and spirit. In the end, our reality and the kind of energy that exist within it are truly our choice.

SAILING

On a blue and
pristine waters
So peaceful,
And calm..

And me,
Sailing . . .
Alone and chilling..

Summer skies above,
look so good
and pale,
For a lonely traveller..

With only my
heightening senses,
Echoing my wildest stream
of passion..
Caressing the rays of
the glaring sun..
Envelope in sizzling nips
of summer air.

Afloat,
Mindlessly..
Birds chirping
As if,
Trying to whisper
my baby's name..
Lyrics of love,
Melodies of precious
conversations..

Cascading,
Sailing tirelessly..
Eyes beaming
with so much
expectations..

And..
No matter
where my boat
will lead me to . . .
But --
There's no other place
that I'd rather be
than in the arms
of my beloved..
For the rest
of my days...

The journey called LIFE. (A brief story of Nisha Ghimire.)

The first photo was taken and posted on Instagram on 14•09•2019 and the second photo taken on 08•06•2021 at Nôrvi¢ Hospital. It is the sàme persôπ, fôrmer Miss Wôrld Népàl second runner-up Nîshá Ghimíré - Frôm Nepal .

Nîshà was on top of her career in 2018 as a model and a top actress in Indian movies. She was just beginning to harvest the fruits of her dreams that she had pursued from childhood. Cominπg from a poor family, she had high hope of lifting her family from poverty through her talent.

Companies competed to have her as their brands ambassador; big names in Nepal and India both in politics and entertainment fought for her attention and everyone wanted to be associated with her. Her star was rightly positioned to shine; Everyone saw a huge future in her.

In January 2019, she travelled to India to further her skills in Modelling and talent management at Derahdun. Unfortunately she got involved in a road accident (according to local tabloids) months later. Her family couldn't pay for her treatment, all the people who wanted to be with her and the peak of her fame disappeared.

She was brought up back to her home in Nepal to wait for her death. Friends would just visit to take photos and share on internet to earn likes but did absolutely nothing to help her. Politicians, entertainers and all those who followed her were not there.

At the height of her career, among the people who wanted her service to push their brand was a entrepreneur called Megha Chaudhary. Her manager refused that she shouldn't work with Megha because her business was "small" Megha learnt of her sickness through internet and specifically her photos posted by friends that went viral.

It is only this Megha (whom her manager refused to let her work with) that came to her rescue the last minute when no one could come through. Even her own manager ran and couldn't be traced. Megha paid her hospital bills at Nôrvi¢, and the cost for therapies.

Sadly Nisha passed away on 01•09•2021. It is Megha who took care of the burial expenses and offered to pay fees for her siblings including the one at university.

WHEN PARENTS GET OLD ...

Let them grow old with the same love that they let you grow ...

Let them speak and tell repeated stories with the same patience and interest that they heard yours as a child ...

Let them overcome, like so many times when they let you win ...

Let them enjoy their friends just as they let you …

Let them enjoy the talks with their grandchildren, because they see you in them ...

Let them enjoy living among the objects that have accompanied them for a long time, because they suffer when they feel that you tear pieces of this life away ...

Let them be wrong, like so many times you have been wrong and they didn’t embarrass you by correcting you ...

LET THEM LIVE and try to make them happy the last stretch of the path they have left to go; give them your hand, just like they gave you their hand when you started your path!

HOLIDAY FOR UNBELIEVERS

An atheist became incensed over Christmas holiday preparations. He filed a lawsuit about the constant celebrations given to Christians and Jews while atheist had no holiday to celebrate. The case was brought to a judge. After listening to a long, passionate presentation by the atheist's lawyer, the judge banged his gavel and declared, "Case dismissed!"

The lawyer immediately stood and objected to the ruling. "Your honor, how can you possibly dismiss this case? The Christians have Christmas, Easter and many other observances. Jews have Passover, Yom Kippur and Hanukkah. Yet, my client and all other atheists have no such holiday!"

The judge leaned forward in his chair and simply said, "Obviously, is too confused to know about, much less celebrate his own atheist holiday."

The lawyer pompously said, "Your honor, we are unaware of any such holiday for atheist. Just when might that holiday be."

The judge replied, "Well, it comes every year on exactly the same date. Psalm 14:1 states, 'The fool says in his heart, there is no God then, according to the Bible, he is a fool. April Fool's Day is his holiday. Now, get out of my courtroom!"
