This year's CSWCD Loyalty Day held on August 31, 2024 has seen students coming together with enthusiasm and a helping hand. The smiling faces and eagerness of our students truly exemplified the spirit of unity and teamwork.

Indeed, no man is an island. Tasks are best accomplished when we work together and supporting one another! ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ’š

The College of Social Work and Community Development - Student Council participated in Grand Welcome Event: Barrio Fiesta, last August 05, 2024, a vibrant celebration that brought our community together. The event was filled with colorful decorations, traditional music, and creativity that showcased the rich cultural heritage of every place in the Phillipines. The energy was infectious, and the sense of community was palpable as we celebrated our shared traditions and built new memories. This event truly embodied the spirit of unity and pride in our culture.

All thanks to our Dean Dr. Jocelyn T. Gaas, faculty and staff for the support and to all volunteers, participants and officers to give all their time and efforts to join this welcoming event for Crimsons. Kuddos! ๐Ÿ’š

Excitement was in the air as the College of Social Work and Community Development, which had just undergone renovations, was ready to welcome students for the upcoming academic year.

Headed by our CSC Mayor Bonna Fe D. Villa, CSC Vice Mayor Leanne L. Abbas together with the CSC Officers, and the help of our very own College Dean Dr. Jocelyn T. Gaas, Faculty and Students.

The college has now freshly painted student kiosk, now shining with vivid hues that urged students to congregate and share their thoughts, served as the highlight of this makeover.

A well-kept bulletin board functioned as a central repository of information, ready to post updates, opportunities, and announcements. Students could unwind, study, and have lively conversations in the comfy concrete seats strewn throughout the kiosk, which further enhanced the welcoming ambiance.

The school's dedication to advancement and quality was symbolized by the conspicuous, recently modified CSWCD signage that proudly greeted visitors. The CSWCD building itself, with its modernized facade, comes last.โ™ป๏ธ๐Ÿƒ

[CSWCD - FINANCIAL REPORT A.Y. 2023-2024]

The second semester of the academic year 2023-2024 has been exceptionally challenging. Despite the difficulties, I am proud that we delivered and fulfilled our projects, services, and programs to the Catalyst, who are the beneficiaries of our efforts. We extend our sincere gratitude to the CSWCD Faculty for their unwavering support of our plans and ideas, which made this semester full of memorable and enjoyable moments. To the Catalyst, it has been an honor to serve you to the best of our abilities.

I am proud to present the financial report of the College of Social Work and Community Development โ€“ College Student Council for the second semester of the academic year 2023-2024.

[MESSAGE FROM THE CSC MAYOR]

Allow me to proudly present the Mayorโ€™s Report for the second semester of the academic year 2023-2024. I am excited to share the great progress our college has made this year. With the support of my dedicated officers, we have completed important projects, including events, college programs, and infrastructure upgrades. Our very supportive College Dean, Dr. Jocelyn T. Gaas, has been key to these efforts. Our faculties and staff have also provided valuable support, along with our CSC Coordinator, Sir Ryan V. Tandoy, who supports us in every decision we make.

This report focuses on inclusivity, sustainability, and openness. Through our combined efforts, we have built a stronger and more lively community. This document not only records our achievements but also serves as a guide for future growth and success.

Stay tuned for more updates and future projects, Catalyst! ๐Ÿ’š
