TURN OVER OF LIVELIHOOD COMPONENT SEAWEED DEVELOPMENT PROJECT TOGETHER WITH BFAR IX

The Litayon Salt Making Association and the Western Alicia Fisherfolk Association received interventions from BFAR IX to sustain and increase their seaweed production in the upcoming months.

It is vital to know the needs of our constituents especially in providing livelihood programs that would give tangible results and improve their socio-economic well-being. Thank you BFAR! 💚

The National Movement of Young Legislators (NMYL) has invited the Dangerous Drugs Board to its 26th National Convention, where members converged to strengthen their idealism and commitment to good governance, particularly in the field of legislation and policy development.

Executive Director and Undersecretary Earl Saavedra of the DDB joined the discussion, outlining the Proposed Enhanced Philippine Anti-Illegal Drugs Strategy and the roles of local government units (LGUs) in its implementation.

NMYL is composed of young lawmakers, including Vice Governors, Vice Mayors, Provincial Board Members, City and Municipal Councilors, Sangguniang Kabataan officials, and Association of Barangay Captains Federation Presidents.

Members of the NMYL converged again in Hennan Convention Center, Panglao, Bohol to strengthen our idealism and commitment in the field of legislation and policy development anchored on SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities, and SDG 17: Partnership for the Goals.

Gracing the event were DILG Secretary Benhur Abalos Jr., DSWD Assistant Secretary Baldr Bringas, Dangerous Drugs Board Undersecretary Earl Saavedra, and Congressman Jose Manuel Alba.
