As we bid farewell to the Rescue Scout Course, the last day was a testament to the dedication and readiness of our students. Practical demonstrations tested their skills, showcasing their ability to handle emergencies with precision.

In a dynamic Q&A session, teachers engaged with our rescue trainers, enriching the learning experience for all. The students faced rigorous testing, demonstrating their prowess in scenarios ranging from cardiac arrests to road accidents.

Teachers provided insightful feedback, emphasizing the students' grasp of first aid techniques. The completion of this course signifies their preparedness to handle emergencies like choking, road accidents, fires, fractures, and bleeding.

With the successful completion of the Rescue Scout Course, our students stand ready and equipped to be first responders in diverse emergency situations.

The lecture segment delved into critical topics of snake bites, dog bites, and choking, enhancing our expertise in emergency response.

Session unfolded with reverence as we with the recitation of the Holy Quran. The training moved outdoors for disciplined ground training, including crucial aspects of discipline and salute procedures.
A comprehensive lecture on fire safety and road safety followed, equipping us with essential knowledge to navigate emergencies with precision. 🔥🛣️ The day concluded with an insightful session on handling fractures, empowering us with vital skills to provide immediate assistance. 💪🩹 Students are excited to continue this journey of enhancing our capabilities and making a positive impact on community safety!

This year the theme of World Diabetes Day is Access to Diabetes Medicines and Care. The guest speaker was Prof. Dr. Qazi Masroor Ali and the focal person of the program was Dr. Muhammad Usman Cheema Chief Medical Officer the Islamia University of Bahawalpur while the guest of honor was CEO District Health Authority Bahawalpur Dr. Syed Tanveer Hussain Shah.

The Orientation day for the new students of BHMS (Bachelor of Homeopathic Medical Sciences) Department of the (Session 2023-2028) was unfolded on Thursday, 26 October 2023 in Anatomy Hall of Khawaja Fareed Campus at The Islamia University of Bahawalpur. The event was marked by the presence of distinguished Faculty members, ISA's and members of BHMS Students Club.

The ceremony commenced with an inspiring opening speech of Dean Faculty of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences, Prof. Dr. Saeed Ahmad, by setting the tone for the day. With passion and conviction, he underscored the profound efficacy of homeopathy, highlighting its unique approach to healing and wellness. Along with them Dr. Hafiz Muhammad Asif, Principal of UCCM (University College of Conventional Medicine) also elucidated the growing global trend and acceptance of homeopathy in the field of healthcare, encouraging the students to embrace this opportunity.

Continuing the event, Sir Qamar U Zaman, DDSA (Deputy Director of Students Affairs) of the Faculty of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences, addressed the students with sincerity and warmth. The faculty members of the UCCM, including Madam Laila Samreen, Sir Muhammad Atif, Dr. Faheem Hadi, Dr. Khawar Abbas, Madam Rida Tanveer, Sir Saad Qamar, Sir Rizwan Arshad, Madam Arfa Haroon, Sir Shah Muhammad, Madam Tayyaba Rehman, generously shared their invaluable insights and wisdom with the new students. Each faculty member wished the students good luck and success in their academic pursuits.

The Orientation day served not only as a welcome but as an inspiration for these aspiring homeopathic practitioners. With the guidance and encouragement of the distinguished faculty members, the students embarked on their educational journey, filled with hope and determination, as they looked forward to the promising years ahead.
