09-09-2023 یعنی آج کا دن میرے لیے انتہائی خوشی کا ہے کہ محترم حافظ صفوان صاحب سے ملاقات ہوئی جن کی مجھ سے محبت و عقیدت سگے بھائی کی طرح ہے
حافظ صاحب سے محبت و عقیدت کا تعلق بہت مضبوط ہونے کی وجہ یہ ہے کہ میرے والد مرحوم (پروفیسر سید سعید احمد، استاد زبان و ادبیات فارسی) اور حافظ صاحب کے والد محترم جناب پروفیسر عابد صدیق صاحب بہت گہرے علمی و ادبی دوست تھے
آج حافظ صاحب سے خصوصی طور پر اپنے آبا کے حوالے سے ملاقات ہوئی
حافظ صاحب میرے والد کی علمیت پر کچھ قلمبند کرنا کرنا چاہتے ہیں جس کے لیے مجھے والد صاحب کا تحریری مواد پیش کرنے کا شرف حاصل ہوا
حافظ صفوان صاحب نے جدائی کے پُر تکلیف موقع کو اپنے والد صاحب کی کتاب "پانی میں ماہتاب" بطور تحفہ دے کر انتہائی خوشگواری میں تبدیل کردیا
