حضرت عمرؓ اپنے حجرہ خاص میں بیٹھے تھے کچھ مہمان آئے ہوئے تھے حضرت عمرؓ کے اپنے بیٹے حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ تعالی عنہ ملنے آئے فرمایا میں ملنے آیا ہو حضرت عمرؓ نے کہا وہاں باہر کھڑے ہو جاٶ میں فارغ نہیں اور کوئی بھی آئے تو اندر نا بھیجنا حضرت عبداللہ بن عمرؓ کہتے ہیں کہ تھوڑی دیر گزری تو امام حسنؓ آگئے حضرت عبداللہ بن عمرؓ کو کھڑے دیکھا تو پوچھا امیرالمومنین کہاں ہیں فرمانے لگے وہ تو اندرہیں مہمانوں سے باتیں کر رہےہیں انہوں نے بولا تھا کہ کوئی آئے تو اندر نہیں بھیجنا عبداللہ بن عمرؓ نے کہا شہزادے آپ اندر جانا چاہیں تو میں نہیں روکتا آپ جانا چاہیں توآپ جا سکتے ہیں انہوں نے کہا کیا ضرورت ہے ابھی ظہر کی نماز ہوگی مسجد جاؤں گا اور عمرؓ سے ملاقات ہوگی تو مل لونگا اندر جانا ضروری تو نہیں جناب سیدنا امام حسنؓ واپس چلے گئے جب بات چیت ختم ہوگئی مجلس برحاست کی تو حضرت عمر فاروقؓ باہر تشریف لائے عبداللہؓ سے کہا کہ کیا کام ہے کیوں آئے ہو
تو عبداللہ ڈرتے ہوئےکہنے لگے کہ حضور میری تو خیر ہے امام حسنؓ آئے تھے تو کہا پھرکیا ہوا تو نے روکا تو نہیں حضرت عبداللہ بن عمرؓ کہنے لگے میں نے تو کہا تھا آپ جانا چاہیں تو اندر چلے جائیں لیکن اس نے کہا کہ ظہر کے وقت مسجد میں مل لونگا کہتے ہیں حضرت عمرؓکے چہرے کا رنگ ہی بدل گیا سارے کام چھوڑ کر دوڑے گئے میں پیچھے پیچھے تھا امام حسنؓ کے دروازے پر دستک دی امام حسنؓ باہر آئے کہنے لگےشہزادے ملنے آئے تھے ملے کیوں نہیں واپس کیوں آگئے حضرت امام حسنؓ کہنے لگے امیر المومنین آپ کیوں تشریف لائے مجھے چھوٹا سا کام تھا مسجد میں ظہر کے وقت ملاقات ہو جاتی اور ویسے بھی آپ کا اپنا بیٹا دروازے پہ کھڑا تھا حضرت عمرؓ نے جب یہ لفظ سنے تو چیخ ہی نکل گئی رو پڑے کہنے لگے میرے بیٹے اور آپکا کیا مقابلہ شہزادے کیا اس کے باپ کانام علیؓ ہے اس کی ماں کا نام فاطمہؓ ہے کیا اس کی نانی کا نام حدیجہؓ ہے کیا اس کے نانا کا نام بھی محمد مصطفیﷺ ہے اور پھر جوش وجذبات میں اپنے سر سے پگڑی اتار دی اور کہنے لگے بیٹا میں مکہ کی صحراو ں میں اونٹ چرایا کرتا تھا اور مجھ سے دس اونٹ نہیں سنبھالے جاتے تھے میرے والد خطاب مجھے ڈنڈوں سے مارا کرتے تھے یہ جو میرے سر پر عزت کے بال ہیں یہ تیرے نانا محمدمصطفیﷺ کے اگائے ہوئے ہے، آپ ایسا نا کریں۔

ادھر سے مال آیا تو ادھر بانٹ دیا اور ادھر سے آیا تو ادھر بانٹ دیا-
یہ وہ مال تھا جو بانٹتے بانٹتے بچ گیا تھا-

جب ان سے کارو بار کی ترقی کا راز پوچھا گیا تو انہوں فرمایا

میں تین کام کرتا ھوں

یعنی کل کی امید پہ مال نہیں روکتا کہ مہنگا ھو گا تو بیچوں گا اگر آج مجھے ایک روپے نفع مل رھا ھے اور یہ پکی امید ھو کہ کل بیچوں گا تو مجھے دس روپے نفع ملے گا تو میں آج ہی بیچوں گا کل کا انتظار نہیں کروں گا
