سیدنا ابوھریرہ رضي الله عنه سے روایت ہے کہ رسول الله صلی الله علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا:
تم میں سے بہترین لوگ وہ ہیں جن سے خیر کی امید رکھی جائے اور ان کے شر سے بےخوف رہا جائے
اور تم میں سے بدترین لوگ وہ ہیں جن سے خیر کی امید نہ رکھی جائے اور نہ ان کے شر سے بےخوف رہا جائے۔
