The Scientific Committee of EMDR Pakistan invites you to submit your abstracts for the National EMDR Pakistan Conference, 2023. The final submission for the abstracts is 5pm, 10th September, 2023.

1. Brief Bio Note for each presenter (all authors separately)
2• Submission Statement indicating what is new, unique, and/or innovative about the material you wish to present.
3• Abstract (limited to 250 words)

The registered presenting authors will be expected to present their studies at the conference as a 10 min PowerPoint presentation.
Please share your preferred mode of presentation: in-person or online at time of abstract submission.

The conference offers a unique opportunity to learn from leading experts in the field, network with fellow professionals, and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in EMDR therapy. It promises to be an enriching and rewarding experience for all attendees.

All efforts should be appreciated, army provided helicopters and rope pully rescue, but save one person other could not tie the belt.
Helicopter rescue equipment can be roughly divided into four types of devices: rescue slings, harnesses, winch stretchers and rescue baskets. They vary in size, cost, complexity and ease of use.
The Decision to winch, the devices also vary in terms of the physical strain they put on a casualty, with rescue slings being best suited to casualties without serious impairments and rescue baskets being the best choice for the most injured patients.
The technical parameters can be commented on by knowing information of the condition of rope, cable position and access, wind , equipment and training of the commandos for such situations. Why they didn't realise it soon and shifted to another plan.
Why rescue 1122 and NDMA had equipment and experience for such events.
It is Allah SWT mercy that those local boys had experience with rescue in high altitude cables and river drownings and their plan worked, if they had failed or any life had lost all blame would have been on them.
How they assessed the condition of the ropes and the weights to carry is really commendable.
The Nation as always was a watcher of the thrill and actions, not offering any expertise, equipment, analysis, options, plans, money or rewards.
This has happened so many times, 1947-48 Kashmir war, 1965 Ran of kach, operation Gibraltar and India war, 1971war, Siachin expedition, Afghan war, Kargil war, NATO Afghan war, TTP war, Internal displacements, Balochistan insurgency, Earth quakes and floods.
So Pakistan should be expert in search and rescue, rescue equipment manufacturing, assessment and planning.
Government has expanded rescue 1122 services but community participation is few, after looting in internal displacements, Earthquake and floods.
