Walled city of Lahore. I am not from Lahore but my heart stays in Lahore since i visited 12 years ago.
Lahore, the second largest city of Pakistan, ancient capital of the Punjab, home to nearly as many people as New York, layered like a sedimentary plain with the accreted history of invaders from the Aryans to the Mongols to the British.
Lahore was a different world in its own; the busy life, the rich history, the colourful culture, and the unfamiliar faces.
Lightning’s echo comes as thunder. And the city waits for thunder’s echo, for a wall of heat that burns Lahore with the energy of a thousand summers, a million partitions, a billion atomic souls split in half.

No matter how gloomy life gets, there will always be sunshine again. 🌞
Life is like the weather, each new day brings a new forecast unique to any other. And while you can't control it, you do have the choice oh how to respond to it. There will be periods of sunshine and days where you feel like the drops are pouring down on you.
During those gloomy times it's important to remember that those periods don't last; eventually the sun always shine again and in some cases a rainbow appears ... Which would not be possible without the rain. When you make peace with the fact that there will be rainy days, you can prepare accordingly knowing that after the storm you will be blessed with beautiful rays once again. 🌄♥️
