Nips Literary Club Honors Faiz Ahmed Faiz with Successful Event .

The Nips Literary Club recently hosted a successful event to honor the renowned poet Faiz Ahmed Faiz, featuring notable speakers and engaging performances.

The event began with a Quran recitation by Waheed Abbasi, followed by an introduction of the club by President Syeda Muzna.Student's Affairs Incharge Prof. Manzoor Veesrio then gave a warm welcome address.

Majid Mahairi, Founder and General Secretary of NLC, spoke about the life and work of Faiz Ahmed Faiz. The guest speakers added depth to the event:
Prof. Shahid Iqbal Kamran, Professor and Chairman of the Department of Iqbaliat at AIOU Islamabad
Prof. Humaira Ishfaq, Professor at IIUI Islamabad, writer, and literary critic
Prof. Rawish Nadeem, poet, writer, and scholar

A special highlight was Dileep Kumar's performance of Faiz's poetry in song.

The event ended with a vote of thanks from Furqan Talib Sarvary and a candle-lighting ceremony to honor Faiz Ahmed Faiz.

Notable attendees included Prof. Mam Sadia, Prof. Saed Rid, Mam Tasleem, Mam Ferhat Gill, Prof. Rao Muhammad Iqbal, Prof. Munawar, Prof. Tahir, other Nips faculty members, and many students. The event was smoothly managed by stage secretaries Kashif Muhammadani, an NLC executive member, and Kinza Mumtaz.

The event was a fitting tribute to Faiz Ahmed Faiz, celebrating his significant contributions to literature.
