Ahsan Bari is a music producer, composer and theorist, based in Karachi-Pakistan. He is formally trained in North Indian classical, Western harmony and has been actively writing music in multiple genres, including Jazz, Rock, Pop, Folk and various world music dialects.
Bari is the founder of world music ensemble "Sounds of Kolachi" and has been touring actively since the last 10 years. He has frequently performed in India, U.S, England, Italy as well as in all the major cities of Pakistan. Bari has been teaching music and conducting workshops, all around the world. His disciples are making a mark in the field of music all around the world.
His area of expertise is Theory and practice of North Indian classical, Contemporary music, and contemporary approaches in South Asian music. Apart from being the founder and music director of “Sounds of Kolachi” Bari is right now working Director special programs for performing arts at Arts council of Pakistan Karachi

Sheikh Dina, a talented musician, has her own band, "EKTARA," which performs traditional Bangladeshi folk music across international borders, using the internet as a medium in this new digital age.
She rose to prominence thanks to two traditional folk songs, *Mone Kori Assam Jabo* and *Dilona Dilona*, which take listeners on a beautiful journey through Bangladesh's traditional raags and rhythms. Her expertise expand from concept creation, composition, to sound production.
Besides, her real dream and wish were to represent her country’s Folk songs at global platforms.
Finally, her dream was manifested into reality. She received the opportunity in the Folk endeavor and got invited to music festivals from around different nations of England, Nepal, Pakistan, and India, to perform and represent her Native Bangladesh, many times on global platforms.
Sheikh Dina also describes herself as being a traveler. She feels like an free bird who keeps on singing and flying at different places.
She has overcome numerous problems and obstacles in her real life before reaching significant levels of success and corresponding on a worldwide scale.
It was only by her tenacious hard work and dedication to the point of exhaustion that she was able to overcome the challenges, conquer the globe, and achieve her goals.
Rakiba Oyshi - music runs through her mind and vein almost 24 hours a day. Oyshi's 100% devotion is for music. Be it classical or semi-classical vocal, regional folk, modern contemporary songs, Tagore, or even instrumental, she is lost most of the time in her world of music. She’s finishing her Master of Music from a reputable university in Bangladesh. Any spare time she finds, she spends it learning, practising and working on her original songs.
She believes music can make the world a better place and break all boundaries, as the music comes from the heart and has an emotional attachment.
Oyshi started to sing from an early age. Born and raised in a pleasant and beautiful town in Bangladesh. Because of her love for music, she had her mother’s support to pursue the journey. From an early age, she used to participate in singing competitions at the national level. She finished her college studies there then moved to Dhaka for higher education. She was adamant she will study Music, and she finished her Graduation in Classical Music. In 2017 she participated in “Fizz Up Channel I – Shera Kontho”, she was chosen among thousands of competitors/participants, and in the end with millions of from the fan and reputable judges panel decision, she became the champion. Ever since then she has been working on her various singing projects as well as working on her original songs. She is also finishing her Master of Music and taking classical vocal training.
Uttam Kumar Dash's soulful music embraces the
human spirit, lights, and shadows. His lyrics and voice
float between love and loneliness, and loneliness to
hope. His creations bridge the gap between the
mysteries and elucidations of love's devotion. Like
the rivers of his beloved city.
Uttam’s upcoming songs from Project Ree are a
continuation of his journey towards love and peace.

Born and raised in Sylhet, the spiritual city that gave birth to legendary folk singers Hason Raja, Shah
Abdul Karim. Uttam absorbed every piece of music that entered his heart as a child, regardless of
borders, genre, or themes. Arnob, Abdul Karim, Nachiketa, Srikanta Acharya, and many other great
Bengali artists from Dhaka and Kolkata served as role models for him. Uttam wrote his first song when
he was 10 years old, and since then he has composed a large number of songs on his own in the hope
that one day he will be able to share them with others.
Recently, for the first time, he was able to record his original song "Je Amare" in a studio. Aside from
that, Uttam has won several district-based singing competitions and did live shows around the country.
Rahat Ahmed, A Bangladeshi indie filmmaker. He has started his journey through making short films. He has worked in various renowned production houses like Cine-mistri, Little Big Films, Metroid Films as assistant director. He made a small community called "Filmবানামু'' where a lot of young & talented indie filmmakers work together & trying to make efforts to the society.

Irfan Ali Bahadur aka IAB is a singer, composer, director, producer, and a music Graduate of NAPA (National Academy of Performing Arts, Karachi). Belongs to upper Hunza Gojal.
Irfan has released his first multilingual EP of 6 songs in Wakhi, Urdu and an instrumental featuring many big names & legends from the music & art industry.
The album is called NEREW (spectrum of sound) that’s a Wakhi word means Rainbow.
Irfan has been working as a professional musician for the last 10 years. One of his greatest achievements was representing Pakistan in the closing ceremony of Jubilee Games UAE with the finest (Bollywood) music duo (composer, director, singer) Salim – Suleman Merchant and some other talented musicians/singers from all around the globe, prior to that IAB did his first ever international tour to Tajikistan and performed in the “Roof of the World Festival”, representing Pakistan.
Prior to his latest EP, Irfan had produced a song called “Sounds of Pluralism – Gilgit Baltistan & Chitral” which covers songs in all 5 regional languages (Wakhi, Shina, Brushaski, Balti and Khuwar) of Gilgit Baltistan & Chitral. The song has since then become a signature song of GB.
Irfan is working on his 2nd album which has 12 songs in total. This album will be featuring some amazing folk & contemporary, eastern, western musicians along with a symphony orchestra.
Rimsha Qureshi
A vocalist from Karachi, Pakistan. Her eccentric style of vocals is fused with Jazz and Blues, which she garnishes with desi rock and progressive flavours.
She began performing underground at the age of 6, and since has been a part of many projects and trainings, including being a part of church choirs, and solo performances.
In 2018 she joined Sounds of Kolachi, a Pakistani music ensemble lead by Ahsan Bari, and appeared in Coke Studio Season 11 wth the band, and embarked on her music journey commercially. Since then she has been a part of many commercial bands, projects and is now beginning her solo career, currently working on her first EP, which she plans to release in 2022.

We are so excited to be a part of "Mela and symposium" by Transforming Narratives . A project funded by Arts Council England in collaboration with British Council .
We will be presenting an experimental film based around people, landscape, sounds of Bangladesh and Pakistan.
"Dhaka say Karachi- Chapter2" is a collaboration between artists from multiple disciplines. The film will be presented live on the 21st of march.
