After the successful launch of Sasta Tandoor at DRSWA premises, we started the first mobile Sasta Tandoor from the Korangi industrial area. This was in collaboration with Korangi Association of Trade & Industry (KATI) and we are indeed grateful to Mr. Zubair Chaya Deputy Patron In Chief of KATI, Mrs. Nighat Awan Acting President of KATI, Mr. Jawad Muzaffar DC Korangi, Mr. Danish Aman SWG, Mr. Muslim S. Mohamedi Senior Vice President of KATI, Mr. Zahid Hameed Chairman of the CSR Committee of KATI, Mr. Raza Zaidi, Mr. Shahjahan, Mr Zain Mundia, Mr. Harris, Mr. Aamir Chottani, Mr. Hamza Sameer, Mr. Adnan Zahoor, and Mr. Bilal Mahmood.

We have been assured by KATI of their continued support in making this mobile initiative a permanent one to assist the needy labour of the Korangi industrial area. This gesture of their's has encouraged us to expand this initiative to other Korangi areas as well.

Dear All,

Further to our earlier post on recent DRSWA projects, we are pleased to announce opening of latest initiative of SASTA TANDOOR. A simple and sobre inaugration ceremony took place yesterday evening and from today it has become operational. In view of ever rising food inflation, this Tandoor will mainly cater to daily wages labor class, at Phase II ext. Commercial area. Each naan will cost the recipient Rs.10 .. compared to Rs. 25 in regular Naanbai shops. 2-5 Naans per person limit and timings will be 12.30 pm to 2.30 pm daily with Sunday off. The Tandoor will be operated under proper hygienic environment with quality ingredients. The purpose of charging Rs.10 is to give a sense of dignity to labor class and to avoid beggar mafia.

As advised earlier, we are depending on our donors to generously participate in this noble cause. Only donation we need at this time is wheat flour (Atta).
