HOW TO HANDLE PAKISTAN AFFAIR?
Pakistan Affairs is generally believed to be a comparatively low-scoring subject. There are different takes of different people on this very subject. Some of them believed that the Pre-partition portion can fetch you good marks whereas the others have been found favoring the post-partition era. But thanks to the uncertain nature of FPSC, no one is sure as to which portion will be given more weight-age. The prime example is the CSS-2017 Pakistan Affairs paper where the examiner has turned a blind eye towards the Pre-partition era. Still, you cannot omit the Pre-partition era.
An aspirant needs to have all the aspects completely covered since examiner can surprise you in his/her own possible style.
Therefore, the aspirant needs to have a very tactical approach and bear in mind that the can pave the way towards success.
An aspirant needs to analyze the past papers along with keeping an eye on the course prescribed by the FPSC.
As Sir Francis Bacon states, “Some books are to be read only in parts, others to be read, but not curiously, and some to be read wholly, and with diligence and attention.”
Similar kind of a thing applies on the subjects included in CSS.
Even in Pakistan Affairs, you need to categorize the topics into two main portions.

The second category consists of the topics that provide connectivity among various main events and good from the point of MCQs as well.
The total list of topics for both the categories will be shared later.
The point that should be kept in mind is that a major part of Pakistan Affairs in covered quite well if you prepare properly for the Current Affairs.
The recommended books are as follows.

ENGLISH ?
Wren&martin with keys
And Raymond Murphy or
To the point by Aftab ahmad (very basic)
PAK AFFAIRS & CURRENT AFFAIRS ?
ان سب کا سلیبس اپنی ٹیبل پر رکھیں
پاکستان افیرز سے اپکے essay کے کافی موضوعات نکل آئیں گے مثلآ
Democracy
Poverty
Education
Health
Energy
Water crises
Population
How to prepare other 7 subjects ?

QUERY.......!!!!!!!!
How to Read a Book for CSS Exam????
Preparation: The Best Tips
Reading books for css exam preparation can be difficult. How do you find the time? Where do you start? What tips are there to make reading easier and more effective for your exam preparation?
ANSWER........!!!!!
In this article, we will go through tips that may help improve your reading experience when preparing for an exam. These tips range from finding the best study spot to making a schedule. Read on to learn how to read a book and get ready for exams.
1. Read the book in its entirety.....!!!
One of the best tips for reading a book is to read it in its entirety. This may not be possible if you are reading an assigned textbook but try (and make time) to finish your novel before starting on any other readings or assignments.
It will give you a better understanding and appreciation of what has been written when revisiting passages and noticing how they all tie together.
2. Read with a purpose
Make sure that you know why you're reading - sometimes this can change depending on the course material assignment, so pay close attention! If there's one thing we've learned from our research at StudyHacks HQ, it's that tips don't work unless they apply directly to YOU. So figure out where each tip might fit into your exam preparation and adjust as necessary.
3. Find the best study spot
This is something that would depend on your reading habits, but try to find a place where you can read without distractions or interruptions.
If you're not sure about what's distracting for you - it may be helpful to keep notes on how often (and why) you get distracted from readings at different places so that next time around, it can help select the most productive reading environment!
4. Read multiple books simultaneously
Many people think they don't have enough time to read all of their assigned texts before exams are over. However, if done strategically, many students are able to do this by reading more than one book at a time while still understanding and retaining the material.
5. Bring snacks and water along
This will depend on what kind of reader you are, but try bringing some light snacks when reading outside so that if hunger strikes (or thirst!) it doesn't interrupt your study session.
It may also be helpful to have a quick snack before going into more difficult reading materials - again this is something that would require trial and error but could make all the difference in exam preparation success down the road!
6. Make a list of any vocabulary words you need to look up and highlight them as you read
If you are reading a book that has difficult vocabulary words, it may be helpful to make a list of any words you come across that need to be looked up.
Write the word on a sticky note or piece of paper and put it in your back pocket so when you have some spare time - go through your notes! This can help with retention for those difficult moments where remembering what certain words mean is essential.
8. Write down key points that are important to remember from the reading
Reading is a process of understanding and retaining information for exams - so it's important to take notes on key points or ideas from what you just read. This will help make sure that the most important info stays with you, rather than other details which may not be as necessary (although still good to know).
Highlight keywords in the text that are relevant to your reading assignment by underlining them. If there might be some confusion between similar-sounding words, write down their definitions next to each one.
9. Keep track of what you're reading by using a bookmark or highlighting your progress on your phone, tablet, or computer screen
It's always a good idea to keep track of what you're reading - whether it be with a bookmark, highlighting your progress on your phone or computer screen, or Noting down notes about the passages as they relate to exam preparation.
This will help you make sure that when you go back and read for exams later in the semester (or if this is an assigned textbook), these important points won't get lost! Making key takeaways from readings can also serve as reminders for yourself about what aspects are most relevant to what was written.
10. Review your notes periodically for better retention.
Some people are able to remember everything they read in a book, but it's more common for students to forget certain information from what they just studied.
This is completely normal! It can be helpful to review your notes periodically before an exam so that you'll have a better chance of remembering the most important parts of what you've been reading and studying - even if those details were forgotten during class or at some other point earlier on. Reviewing key points and making sure these ideas really stick with you will help make exams easier too (and hopefully less stressful!)
