Our client, Engro, wanted an office space that stands out. Our vision was to create an engaging and dynamic workspace that places the human experience at its core. By drawing inspiration from nature, we exaggerated and layered elements to transform the traditional office landscape into a fluid, fun, and visually stimulating environment.

The focus on a multifaceted work space become the bases of our thought process. The site had its own intrigue; on one side there was this dense urban fabric and a visible chaos of the city whilst the other has the cool and calm of the sea hence the floor plan become a threshold between the two.

Engro THF transcends the conventional office setting with a design that prioritizes innovation and collaboration. Tailored to its unique context, our workspace is an immersive natural environment that seamlessly weaves nature’s elements throughout. Inspired by Pakistan’s diverse landscapes, the design harmoniously combines natural aesthetics with functionality.

The Think Tank is a tranquil retreat within the workspace, adorned with custom furniture and décor in muted tones that reflect nature’s palette. Flexible seating options encourage movement and creativity, complemented by versatile whiteboards and bulletin boards for collaborative brainstorming. An overhead ceiling installation inspired by the fluidity of water waves instills a sense of calm,
fostering focused collaboration.

Inspired by Pakistan’s diverse landscapes, the design harmoniously
combines natural aesthetics with functionality.

The Workhall invites employees into a serene seaside-inspired ambiance with its anchor-free layout and calming green hues. Acoustic panels adorned with coral-inspired motifs not only enhance the aesthetic but also absorb ambient noise, creating a peaceful work environment.

Strategic bursts of bright green and yellow in the Phone Booths and Meeting Pods energize the space. These vibrant accents, inspired by nature’s vivid colors, promote a lively atmosphere while ensuring privacy and focus for collaborative or individual work.

By weaving nature into every design element, Engro THF’s workspace becomes a living ecosystem that nurtures creativity, innovation, and well-being.

Designing an office space today requires a keen awareness of the individuals who will inhabit it. Not everyone thrives in a uniform workstation environment; for some, it can feel isolating, while others seek quiet spaces for focus. Moreover, sitting at a
desk for extended periods can pose physical challenges, making options for standing or leaning against a wall a welcome relief.

AMRELI STEELS | The circulation is conceived as an experiential journey, reminiscent of the company’s ethos and celebrating transparency across the workspace. It is flanked on one side by a wall showcasing the brand colour and values. It further seamlessly bleeds into the workhall, where the division is only implied through a change in flooring and ceiling. The implied boundary is characterized as a shared zone, featuring breakout pods, phone booths and meeting rooms right at its cusp. Hence, reinforcing a culture of transparency and collaboration as opposed to division or isolation.
