A Meetup was conducted on 14th Nov with a focus on engaging with a few selected employers and interact with their L&D and finance representatives to understand the organizational dynamics, learning needs and priorities for staff upskilling. The conversation led to the exchange of thoughts on professional development using specialized learnings from AICPA® & CIMA®, the opportunity to gain skills certifications through the CGMA® FLP Skill Core and the fast track pathways available to finance teams to complete the CGMA Qualification and stay competitive in a constantly evolving business landscape.

An employer session for the finance professionals of Haroon Malik & CO., Chartered Accountants (HMC & Co.) was conducted on 4th Nov 2023 to share insights on how AICPA & CIMA is transforming the profession and how the CGMA® Professional qualification can equip you with the skills and competencies needed to stay competitive amidst constantly evolving business landscape.

A webinar on the CGMA® Finance Leadership Program, which is the fastest and digital first route to completing CGMA® Professional Qualification was conducted exclusively for students of O/A levels at the City School group in Pakistan. The session was telecasted at their respective campuses nationwide. The webinar was attended by around 550 students from all campuses across Pakistan. A total of 35 academic counsellors including Head of career & alumni placements and Head of career counselling joined the webinar. The webinar focused on how the qualification can be a great fit for students aspiring to pursue a career in business and finance and the world of opportunities that the CGMA® designation can unfold for them.

The third CGMA Leadership Academy, an intensive four-day leadership programme was held in Singapore from 9 to 12 October 2023. The theme was “Finance Forward: Igniting Value Creation & Leadership”. It featured four tracks of curated content from industry leaders and experts: digital transformation, sustainability and ESG (environmental, social, and governance), leading finance teams, and communication for influence and impact. The overall feedback was positive from the participants.
