This time PIAS is organizing an online lecture titled "Quantum Black Holes: where Hawking meets Ramanujan" on Wednesday 21st April 2021 at 5 PM PST by Professor Atish Dabholkar(Director ICTP). Prof. Dabholkar is a theoretical physicist from India, well known for his research on string theory and quantum black holes including investigations that build on electroweak unification. He has served as Professor of theoretical Physics at Tata Institute of Fundamental Research Mumbai, as visiting Professor at Stanford University and as visiting scientist at CERN. He joined ICTP in 2014 and was head of the High Energy, Cosmology and Astroparticle Physics Section.

We are organizing an online lecture titled "Quantum Structure of Space-time and Symmetries" on Friday 9th April 2021 at 6 PM PST by Professor Babar Ahmed Qureshi. Prof. Babar is a theoretical physicist with a PhD from Syracuse University. He has held research positions at MIT's Center for Theoretical Physics and Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies and is currently a professor at IBA's Department of Mathematical Sciences.
