In commemoration of Universal Health Coverage Day 2023, Avicenna Medical College joined forces with Gulfreen Nursing College, Avicenna Dental College, and Avicenna Hospital to organize a series of impactful events.

Hospital Activities:
Throughout the day, the hospital offered free vital signs check-ups, conducted screenings for hypertension, and provided complimentary dental check-ups to all visitors.

Lecture on Suhalat Card:
A significant lecture and awareness session on the Suhalat Card were conducted by MS and Nursing Incharge. This session aimed to educate patients and their relatives about the benefits and importance of the Suhalat Card.

Lecture delivered to BSN Students
Principal GNC delivered an enlightening lecture to students concerning the essence of Universal Health Coverage Day.

Awareness Walk:
A spirited awareness walk was organized, featuring participation from nursing faculty, students, dental faculty, and hospital staff.
Their collective aim was to raise awareness about Universal Health Coverage Day.
Participants carried informative charts and banners with various health-related messages to amplify awareness among the community.

This collaborative effort by Avicenna Medical College, Gulfreen Nursing College, Avicenna Dental College, and Avicenna Hospital showcased a dedicated commitment to promoting accessible healthcare and underscored the significance of Universal Health Coverage.

The efforts of Gulfreen Nursing College & Avicenna dental College in facilitating these awareness sessions are highly appreciated. Special thanks to Madam Gulfreen (Co-Chairperson) for providing the opportunity to arrange these impactful events.
