He belongs to a very humble family in Kpk. His father is sick and the family is surviving on a short pension. He has no other sources of income. He is giving tutions in Karachi to afford his daily expenses.
He is also leaving for home today or tomorrow so he has also requested additional 10k for his travel cost. He lives in kpk so the travel cost is high.

A rising senior and a very hardworking NOP student has actually reached out to us for help. He is an ACF major so he wants to register for ACCA (The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants). But the registration application has an initial fee of 45 pounds which is around 16,539 Pakistani rupees.

He wants to join ACCA but he can’t afford this registration fee. His father is a farmer, and he doesn’t earn much. This student is the first among his family pursuing higher education. He has been studying on full scholarships during his matriculation and intermediate studies. Please help us pay his registration fee.

The total amount to be collected is 17,635 rupees. 16,539 (45 pounds) plus 767 (4% Card Traxn charges) plus 330 (2% non-filer tax).

A deserving father of 6 children, whom we have been helping out in education fee and loan payment this time approached us with a grievous news of his mother's death. Together with his 2 brothers' help, he could pay only 15k from the total funeral and 3 days food expenses of 50k. Guys, this is actually not good 😓, like why is it that we are not getting same response on all our cases despite that each single case we upload is equally deserving and verified as well at the same time. We acknowledge and we truly understand that this is a very big responsibility (funds raising) and we really make sure (to the best of our abilities) that your donations should go to the right persons and utilized as efficiently as possible. We do our complete homework, there is a whole process with proper set of rules and instructions, its not simply posting a case and then done, no, not at all. Rather there are multiple stages before and after uploading a certain which we strictly adhere to before presenting a case to you.Therefore it is a humble request to all of you to donate to our cases (mostly LUMS/IBA NOP/FA/NTHP) more generously. That being said, posting the NOP student’s father case for one last time. There is an NOP father whose father is having eye issue because of high diabetes, pain and blurred vision. It happens when your diabetes gets out of control, so it either affects your kidneys or eyes. In our case his eye is badly effected. He is unemployed and in another country so he needs to be moved back to Pakistan asap for a quick treatment.

From her family’s end they haven’t collected any amount so far because of lack of resources. The target amount is around 350-400k including the airfare since we can not afford his travel expense either. The treatment is supposed to be in Pakistan as soon as possible because in case of a delay, there will be more complications as my father is diabetic and delay can lead to surgery which is very risky for someone with uncontrolled diabetes.”

Slaam, there are 2 deserving university students from Rajanpur who are struggling with their semester fee. They are studying in the virtual university. One of them is in her 3rd semester and the other one is in the 6th semester. Each of them has a fee voucher of 10k only so we are collecting 20k total for both the students. Further details are as follows:

Kinza’s father was a soldier who died in Siachin under the snow. Her mother is a patient of cardiac arrest and her brother is a daily wager and earns only a meager amount of money on daily basis. She was working in a factory as part-time to afford her tuition fee but she faced severe harassment over there so she had to quit her job.

Fatima’s mother is a house-maid who earns only 10k a month. Her father is in her 80’s and he can’t work.

Alhamdolillah, this is for the first time that we have received a “fee voucher payment” case from an IBA student. Therefore, I am requesting the whole LUMS community in general and the IBA community in particular to help us pay her last semester’s dues before 3rd June.

So far, wallahi, we have closed multiple LUMS NOP/FA student cases within no time just because of the generous support of the LUMS and the IBA Alumni. Therefore, we are anticipating the same level of generosity for this student as well because they are equally talented and deserving as the NOP students are. The details of the case are as follows and please note that we have verified it completely from our end to the best of our abilities and we will pay her voucher ourselves online through our banking application.

So, this xyz student has received "Syed Ahmad Scholarship" for her freshman year, which got discontinued later. She has been funding herself afterwards with the help of different organizations and part-time work. But despite that, this time she hasn't been able to arrange the total outstanding fee due to greater number of courses including the Final year project, which alone costs 130k +.

She had been managing to pay rest of the funds by teaching as well as freelancing.
Now it's her last semester (just the final year project remaining) for which she has gotten a fee voucher of 473,640 rupees out of which the funding organization will pay 313,670 rupees and she has to arrange the remaining 160,000 rupees.

This sister of ours is from Abbottabad and she lives with her mother, sister and a brother. The patient had fibroid cuts removed two times before surgically , then upon getting her condition worse, she got checked and got diagnosed with the cysts around both kidneys , which was later on drained by giving cuts and attaching drainage bags both side exteriorly. Now the doctor has recommended to get it operated to induce stud in it to control the drainage , and she’s also on chemo which is on hold due to kidney issue.
Since her case is critical so she has been referred to a hospital in Peshawar. This family has already spent a lot on her so far through various means but now they are almost out of money. So, can we please become a ray of hope for this dear sister and contribute as much as it is possible for us please.

-Maqsad Foundation : Case 5**Today I witnessed a miracle. Yes, a miracle!So, this abc student called me in the noon asking that, can we do something so the fee gets submitted by today and so that he will get an access to the online resources (like LMS in our case) because he has to submit around 20+ assignments and quizzes which the admin didn't allow him because his access was restricted due to the non-submission of his semester fee. Now the finals are starting from the coming Monday and he needs to get done with all this stuff before that.Believe me, I had collected only 7000 at that time but I told him, don't worry, we will submit the whole fee by today. He already had 30,000 and I had 7,000 so we were still lagging with 33,000. Now I am wondering how can I arrange the remaining 33000. But as soon as I hanged up the call with the student, someone texted me on my WhatsApp asking for my account number for this case 5. I thought how much will he denote, max 5000, but still I will be left with 27,000. So I gave him my account number and then called one of my batchmate and asked for his help. I requested him to lend me 30,000 and I will return it to you from my next salary. He said it's not a big deal and asked for my account details. As soon as I hanged up the call again, I received a photo from the person who contacted me a couple of minutes ago. I opened the photo and I was shocked, like out of nowhere this person came and transferred 33,000 to my account and then gone. I gave him tons of Duas.I was so happy that I called the student and told him that I have a good news that the whole amount has been arranged. I said it happened all of a sudden and miraculously. Upon this he was literally crying saying that he was very worried for his pending 20+ assignment and quizzes because he had only 5-6 days left to submit all this and he was continuously making duas. Then I realized it must have been his Duas which were accepted.However, whoever made that transaction, and whoever contributed in any way, shape or form, we are thankful to you, I am thankful to you. This heart-breaking incident occurred last year after the Eid-ul-Adha when this family “xyz” was moving to another city to attend a marriage ceremony. They were travelling in a local coach and the family members included father, mother, one little son and 4 daughters.

But unluckily, they met an accident on their way (real photos of the accident attached below). The father died at the spot, mother got severe injuries in her one eye and the children got injuries too. They are living hand to mouth nowadays because the only sole earner passed away.

Background of the story:
So, some of you might remember that we uploaded a case of a sister who lives at the back of LUMS and our mission was to sell her home made biryani at Khokha because she has no other source of income. Well, we did sell it for about 2 weeks but it wasn’t successful as much because you know, it’s summers and there is less number of students at campus and hence less demand for her birayni. Plus, the khokhaa man was keeping more profit (50/box) which made the box a bit costly as compared to it’s quantity. However, we will resume it from the fall semester IA.

Now coming to the point, referring to the second last case (marriage case, 25k was our target) which has been closed successfully Alhamdolillah.
Now, Friday morning (22 May), we had only collected 6,500 and so we were worried that we might not be able to hit the target as the marriage was planned on 24 May (today) and we had to help them out with the money atleast one day prior to the event so they can buy and do all the things accordingly.

Now, I received a message around 5pm from the sister mentioned above. She said that she wants to donate her bridal dresses for this case. I said, you are most welcome Jazakallah. She then asked how much money being collected so far. I said, “6,500).
She asked how much more required. I said, “25k is our target”. So she said lemme try. I said, “please don’t over burden yourself as you are not financially stable, you have donated your bridal dresses and these are more than enough”. She insisted so I said, okay, go ahead.

She forwarded the case with it’s details in her circle, collected 20k and then transferred it to my account, SubhanAllah. This was so inspiring for me. May Allah accept her heartiest contribution and reward her a lot and accept her Duas, Ameen!
