Punjab University Vice Chancellor Prof Niaz Ahmad chaired an online meeting of Academic Council here on Thursday. Pro Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Saleem Mazhar, Registrar Dr Muhammad Khalid Khan, deans, heads of departments and professors participated in the onilne meeting. The meeting made important recommendations regarding online examinations of on campus student. The meeting agreed that it would be the first priority to conduct exam of on campus students in the end of June if situation of the country improved. However, it was also agreed to start working on a comprehensive system to conduct online exam of on-campus students in the end of August if the situation of the country did not improve due to coronavirus. In this regard, Prof Niaz Ahmad instructed the officials concerned to make foolproof arrangements to ensure secrecy of question paper, question bank, software security and smooth functioning of all relevant tools of information technology. The meeting also decided to conduct online exam of subjects of English, Political Science and Sociology of LLB first year (five years program) as per old scheme in the month of August. The Academic Council also formed quality assurance committee at departmental level to ensure quality of online teaching and learning. The meeting also decided to form technical committee at university level to assess and resolve technical matters regarding online education system. The meeting also agreed to ensure standards of accreditational councils in relevant subjects. The meeting instructed affiliated law colleges to ensure quality of education

یہ نوجوان تو اپنا فر ض ادا کر گیا اور اس کے بعد جس قدر تشدد کا اسے نشانہ بنایا گیا وہ بھی اسی ویڈیو میں دیکھا جا سکتا ہے اور اب یہ کس حال میں ہے اس کو کیا سزا سنا ئی جا ئے گی یہ کن کن تکالیف اور مظالم کا شکار بنایا جا ۓ گا ہم مادی دنیا کے اسیر ان باتوں سے نا واقف ہیں اور نا ہی کسی کو یہ جاننے کی حواہش ہو گی _

اب سوال یہ ہے کہ ہمارا کیا فر ض بنتا تھا اور ہم نے کتنے فیصد اپنا فر ض ادا کیا کیا اس نوجوان کی جدوجہد کو ٹوئٹر پر ٹاپ ٹرینڈ بنانے سے ہمارا فر ض ادا ہو گیا نہیں بلکل بھی نہیں یہ کاہلوں کی نشانیاں ہیں اس سے صرف اتنا ہوگا کہ جو لوگ اس واقع کو نہیں جانتے تھے وہ بھی جان جا ئیں گے اور ایسے چند بزدلوں کا اور اضافہ ہو جا ۓ گا جو صرف سوشل میڈیا پر پوسٹیں کر کے سمجھیں گے ہم نے دین کا بڑا ساتھ دیا اور جنت پکی کر لی _

اب سوال یہ اٹھتا ہے کہ ہمارے کرنے کے کام کیا ہیں کیا ہم نے ناروے کی مصنوعات کا بائیکاٹ کیا , کیا ہم نے اپنی حکومت کو مجبور کیا کہ وہ نا صرف ناروے سے ہر قسم کے سفارتی تعلقات منقطع کرے بلکہ اپنے دوست ممالک کو بھی ایسا کرنے کو کہے اور فوری طور پر ناروے کا سفارت حانہ بند کیا جا ۓ مگر یہ سب کچھ تو ایک طرف ابھی تک پاکستان کے حکومتی ایوانوں سے ایک آواز بھی اس واقع کے حلاف نہیں اٹھی نا روے کے حلاف ایک بیان بھی جا ری نہیں ہوا _

پاکستان میں لوگوں کے پاس دولت لے انبار ہیں کیا کو ئی ایک پاکستانی ناروے کی کسی عدالت میں اس بے چارے معصوم , حرمت قرآن پر مٹ جانے والے نوجوان کی رہا ئی کیلۓ اپیل دا ئر کر سکتا ہے _ نہیں بلکل بھی نہیں ہم صرف سوشل میڈیا کے مجاہد ہیں _

اپنے ماں باپ جیسے بھی ہوں چاہے امیر ہوں یا غریب دوسرے لوگوں کے سامنے فخر سے ان کے بارے میں ان کا زکر کرنے میں عار محسوس نہ کریں. . ان کی وہ تمام تکالیف کا زکر اور شکر کرو جن کی بدولت اور قربانیوں کی وجہ سے آج آپ ایک اچھے رتبے پر فائز ہوتے ہیں. 😊
