لورا لائی میں یہ بند دکان ایک ہندو کی ہے جو تقسیمِ ہند کی وقت بہت افسوس کے ساتھ یہ دکان چھوڑ کر ہندوستان چلا گیا
لیکن جاتے وقت بہت رویا اور گاؤں کے لوگوں کو کہا کہ میں واپس آپ لوگوں کے پاس بہت جلد لوٹ آؤں گا۔ لورا لائی میں موجود اس دکان کو ابھی تک وہی تالہ لگا ہے جو ہندو کاکڑ جاتے وقت لگا کر چابی اپنے ساتھ لے کر گیا تھا۔ 73 سال سے یہ دکان بند پڑی ہے۔ مالک مکان جو کہ ایک پٹھان تھا جو اب فوت ہو چکا ہے،اس نے اپنے بچوں کو وصیت کی ہے کہ اس دکان کا تالہ توڑنا نہیں، یہ ایک ہندو کی امانت ہے جو اس نے ایک مسلمان کے پاس رکھوائی تھی اور مَیں نے اس کاکڑ ہندو کو زبان دی ہے کہ یہ دکان تمارے آنے تک بند رہے گی۔
مالک مکان کی اولاد آج بھی اس تالے کو ہاتھ نہیں لگاتی حالانکہ انہیں معلوم ہے کہ ہندو کاکڑ اب اس دنیا میں نہیں رہا
لیکن وفا کی یادگار کے طور پر اب تک یہ دکان اس ہندو کے ساتھ ایک پٹھان کے وعدے کی یادگار ہے۔

Two American climbers- Gina Marie (L) and Anna Gutu (R), who were in a tough race to be the first American woman to scale all 14 eight-thousanders, were on their final push on Shishapangma today were hit by the avalanche, where Anna is found dead along with her guide Mingmar Sherpa while Gina is missing together with her Guide Tenjen Lama.
Both Gina and Anna completed 13/14 eight-thousanders with only remaining Shisapangma to have achieved that feat.
Missing guide Tenjen (Lama) Sherpa is the record-holding Nepali climber who recently completed 14 eight-thousanders in just 92 days along with Kristin Harila, surpassing Nirmal Purja's previous record of 189 days.

Braldu Treks And Tour
Northern areas of Pakistan are blessed with some of the tallest peaks and mountains in the world in the Great Himalyians. The Lush-green valleys with its rushing torrents, icy-cold lakes, fruit-laden orchards and flower-decked slopes is ideal for holiday-makers intent on relaxation. Northern Areas are the home of three largest mountain ranges of the world; the Himalaya, the Karakorum and the Hindukush and neighbours China, Afghanistan and Tajikistan. The unique geographic features of the land are next to none. These mountain ranges form the longest glaciers outside Polar Regions and the thickest concentration of world’s highest peaks.
There mountain ranges spread over 72,496 sq. km are as fascinating as its southern region. Amidst towering snow-clad peaks with heights varying from 1,000 m to 8,000 meters, the regions of Gilgit, Hunza, Baltistan and Shangri-La. The cultural patterns of these regions are as interesting as its geography. The people with typical costumes, folk dances, music and sports like polo and buzkashi, provide the traveller an unforgettable experience.
Out of 14 over 8,000 meters high peaks on earth, 4 occupy an amphitheater at the head of Baltoro glacier in the Karakoram range in Northern Pakistan. These are; K-2 or Mount Godowin Austin (8,611 m, world's second highest), Gasherbrum-I (8,068 m), Broad Peak (8,047 m) and Gasherbrum-II (8,035 m).
There is yet another which is equally great, Nanga Parbat (8,126 m), located at the western most end of the Himalayas. In addition to these mountains, there are 68 peaks over 7,000 m and hundreds others of over 6,000 meters.
