We planted a mayawaki forest for a well known housing society in Islamabad. Alhamdullilah almost all the plants survived. We will see the same forest after monsoon. Mayawaki provides food and shelter for biodiversity. Brachyscomes We are absolutely smitten by the burgeoning beauty of these perennials. These belong to family of asters and bloom at the peak of summers. Brachyscomes act as magnets to attract pollinators to your gardens. The soft hue of the blossoms makes them loveable. Therefore, it's a pleasure watching flowers dancing in the air.
OUR DISPLAY GARDEN(MURREE) Some of our early summer bloomers are bursting into an array of hues. We prefer soft and cooler tones like whites, pink, peaches and most importantly blues and purples. Hydrangeas, Yarrow, roses, etc are blooming their tiny hearts out. The best thing about Hydrangeas is that they have such a long extended blooming. And during winters their saddle flowers provide much needed interest.
Our botanical garden is just filling up! We have planted over 1000+ species here. These include Crabapples Cherries Red buds Weeping buddelia Irises Junipers Barberris Camellias Hydrangeas Daphnies Sambucus nigrum Etc. We're truly enjoying it and will you all update.
