Organ Donation Awareness:
Charter President Anil Srivatsa shared his inspiring journey advocating for organ donation across 59 countries. He emphasized the importance of donating organs fearlessly, both to loved ones and strangers. President Bilal Amhad announced plans to establish RCL City's first Organ Donation Satellite Club in Pakistan and conduct awareness sessions during his tenure.

Rtn Zeeshan Zia Raja presented a signed photo frame to IPP Bilawal Hamif and President Bilal as a goodwill gesture.

Rtn Anil Srivatsa and his spouse Deepali were warmly welcomed by Rotary Club of Lahore City - RCLC members, including President Rtn Bilal Ahmad Awan , Secretary Rtn Mian Mohammad Sajid , Rtn Ramzan Abir, and Dr. Amna Sarwar at the Wahgah border in Lahore.
Past President Anil Srivasta is the Charter President of the world’s first cause-based Rotary club for Organ Donation, the Rotary Club of Organ Donation RID 3234 India.

Afterward, they all enjoyed lunch at AFOHS Club, and Anil had a meeting with the Director General of Punjab Human Organ Transplant Authority (PHOTA), where he briefed them about his mission.

Anil's fundamental message is to showcase his life post-donation and inspire others to fearlessly donate organs if called upon by a family member or loved one. Additionally, he aims to continue enhancing the positive image of Rotary worldwide.

The Rotary Club of Lahore City - RCLC, led by President Dr. Bilawal Chaudhary and Director of Service Projects Rtn Shireen Asad, concluded their year with a remarkable service project benefiting the Sundas Foundation. Members generously contributed donating 415 double blood bags with BT sets, they also distributed toys, stationary, gifts, and food items to Thalassemia patients. This comprehensive effort not only marks the highest quarterly donation to date by the club to the Sundas Foundation but also underscores their steadfast commitment to aiding those in need. The Rotary Club of Lahore City - RCLC recently celebrated a significant milestone at the Club Learning Assembly and induction ceremony for the Rotary Club Presidents 2024-2025 of the Central Zone. Held at the Royal Swiss Lahore on June 22, 2024, the event was graced by Pubudu de Zoysa from Sri Lanka, serving as the Special Advisor to the Rotary International President for District 63 (formerly 3272) Pakistan.

PDG Chouhdary Saifullah Ejaz was organized for conducting excellent training sessions, while Past President Ishrat Shameem coordinated the event for the Central Zone with remarkable finesse. The Rotary Club of Lahore City extends warm congratulations to President-elect Bilal Ahmad Awan, Secretary-elect Mian Mohammad Sajid, and all incoming club chairs who will assume their roles on July 1, 2024, for the 2024-2025 term.

A total of 26 members from RCL City, including club board members, office bearers, and upcoming leaders, actively participated in this important gathering. The club was honored with special appreciation certificates for its outstanding contributions. Special representative RI D63 PDG Pubudu de Zoysa with Rtn Ishrat Shameem coordinator for central zone had an important virtual meeting on zoom with the Rotary Club of Lahore City - RCLC on June 10th, 2024. During the meeting, she addressed the issue of why former RI District 3272 had been suspended, citing three main reasons: phantom clubs, misuse of Rotary Foundation funds, and misuse of Rotary accounts. This indicates there were serious concerns about transparency and accountability within the district.

Additionally, PDG Pubudu interacted with upcoming leadership, club officials, and members of the Rotary Club of Lahore City. This interaction likely involved discussing their respective roles, responsibilities, and contributions to the community. It's commendable that PDG Pubudu appreciated the members' efforts towards humanitarian causes, recognizing their dedication to making a positive impact. Service Projects:
Rtn Shireen Asad suggested supporting the Sundas Foundation's last drive of the year 2023-2024 for blood bags before President Bilawal's tenure ends. Members appreciated her efforts towards humanitarian service.

Rtn Azhar Warraich, the Foundation Chair of Rotary Club of Lahore City, highlighted the annual citation process for Rotarians, where members contribute $25 each. This process aims to recognize their contributions annually, and our club aims to achieve the citation of ‘Every year Every Rotarian’. Additionally, he emphasized the significance of establishing Rotaract and Interact clubs in educational institutions to foster growth and community involvement.

Fareeha Younus, an Executive Member of LCCI and a member of RCL City, elaborated on the role of women empowerment. At the District Conference HOPECON2024 held from 26th to 28th April at Movenpick Hotel in Karachi, a 10-member delegation from the Rotary Club of Lahore City, led by Rtn Rizwan Ahmad, participated. During the conference, Rotary International Director Faiz Kidwai recognized RCL City as the best club in the country.
Rtn Zaki Abbas Sheikh also appreciated the exceptional honor received from Karachi's Rotarians during the fellowship and HOPECON2024 experience.
