World Men's Health week, 2022, is celebrated globally from June 13-June 14. The purpose is to raise awareness about men's overall well-being, emphasising sound mental and physical health. 📝

According to the CDC, men dying about five years earlier than women on average is a matter of grave concern. Almost 13.2% of men aged 18 and over fall in fair or poor health status. Fourteen (14%) of men aged 18 and over are those who currently smoke. Men are at a higher risk for many serious diseases, including heart disease, lung cancer, and HIV.

Raising awareness about preventive screenings and regular health care for men of all ages is essential to improve men's health. Interventions to reduce smoking and drinking, promote healthy behaviours, and help prevent diseases and improve men's health.
