Women matters collaborated with APWA Multan on arranging a high powered pannel discussion on 16 days of activism and spoke about women facing harassment and violence in all walks of life.
Issues like inheritance, role of media in highlighting domestic laws , laws regarding women rights and harassment were also discussed

I personally learnt about so many laws and rights of women that we as women don’t have knowledge of

A heartfelt salute to the unsung heroes who toil the soil, sowing the seeds of prosperity. Their dedication and hard work nourish the nation.

Winter Vacations ✨

Yesterday, we met with the city administrations in regards to all issues our community are facing.

1. Dengue.
2. Stray Dogs
3. Veda smoke emission and separate waiting areas for women.
4. Traffic and encroachment issues.

It was an incredible meeting, where we got an huge insight into what the city admin is doing and planning to do. They were willing to listen to our suggestions and will be having on going meetings with us for solutions.

One thing i realised is that we as citizens of Multan are so eager to point fingers, but not so forthright to do our bit.

I will be sharing daily each point in detail, in days to follow.

Multan Matters / women matter in collaboration with will be focusing on a UN based initiative 16 DAYS OF ACTIVISM. It’s main focus is highlighting all forms of harassment and finding ways to reduce harassment in walks of life for women, be it a work place or home.

We will be holding a panel talk in which every woman is invited to join and discuss. In hope to find solutions and raise awareness.
