Following new rules are planned by HEC for upcoming Phd Holders.
1:- Students can take admission in Phd on the basis of BS (Hon.) not on M.Phill basis.
2:- G*T subject test for Phd admission is not necessary.
3:- Students can take admission in any Phd program although BS (Hon.) subjects are not relevant.
4:- Universities would take permission from HEC before publishing admission add.
5:- Permanent faculty should be hired by the universities for Phd programs.
6:- Students would passed Phd after 2 years not in one year.
7:- Weekend based classes are not allowed to universities for Phd students.
