Einstein Innovative Learning Center

3 year ago , we choosed a Government school to see if we can enhance the experimental system at high school level. Before this project , there was little concept about doing experiments of physics and system only relied on just cramming of concept without an experiment.

This physics Center at the cost of one million , is now spreading hope that experiments change the way our students think about Physics in a remote town of Punjab.

Making a place is one task but executing upto the standards is most challenging. Great performance in first month evaluation report based on feedback from students and education department. It has been great moth Alhamdulillah with expected challenges.

A journey of a Physicist from a small town to America 🇺🇸 by Dr. Ali in yesterday’s session with kids at EILC Government High School Pakka Ghawlawan. Session was live from USA 🇺🇸

Journey of Dr. Muhammad Ali

I did my Matric from Basti Malook (a town near Multan) and moved to Multan for Intermediate and did BSc from Civil Line college Multan. Before, MSc, I started my job and then started MSc applied physics from Federal Urdu University, Multan in 2011. Then I started MS from PhYsics at comsats University, Islamabad. I found a way to join a research group at King Saud Uni, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. There I met Noble Laureate of physics of 2014 who got the Noble Prize for his Blue LED invention. from him, I was motivated to start working on LED and search for Labs and found a lab in South Korea working on the same field. I joined that lab in 2016 and graduated in 2020 with the distinction as I published 11 first-author research papers which are usually less than 4 for the same lab. Then I got Postdoc offer from multiple labs like KIAST Korea (35 in world), Yale (9 in world), and Uni of Illinois at UC but I chose UIUC becasue of its rich histroy of invention in my area from 1950's to onwards. Here I worked on the green LED and successfully completed a project. I got offers from multiple companies and preferred a company where I can get better training to start my own new company.

School visit by Dr. Ghulam Qadir and his wife Huda Zenati from United States 🇺🇸 to motivate the students. Matters of mutual interest disucssed in a day long visit at all branches of EILC in shah Jamal .

“I not only wanted to learn about modern computer but will change my community through IT teaching as this is my passion” , answer by one the students when asked in whole class of 10th at Girls High School Shah Jamal Muzaffargarh Pakistan.

She was the absolute winner of laptop today. I felt like she has a great will power to cross the barriers. I visited this school first time and felt the need to do much work that has to be done to enhance the girl’s education in Pakistan.

After visiting the science lab which is currently not in experimental use, we have decided to transform the Science lab into the following inshAllah

1. Virtual center establishment with audio visual infrastructure for international scientific sessions as a part of branch 5 of Einstein Innovative Learning Center in this Government school system

2. Establishing of Combined Physics Chemistry and Biology lab in which experiment will be compulsory

We will sign the MOU with the government officials this month and will start the work inshAllah. This will take 5 to 6 months to complete this project inshAllah . Remember in prayers

Rocket Women 🚀NASA Engineer Hibah Rahmani was born in Pakistan and moved to the United States after high school. She was fascinated with the beautiful night sky and at a young age developed a passion for science, space and astronomy. Hibah is the recipient of several awards including the Pride-at-Boeing awards, NASA Group Achievement awards and the NASA On-The-Spot awards.

Yumna Majeed is a space educator and aspiring astronaut. She has been working to promote astronomy and space technology in Pakistan since 2016. Yumna founded Exploration by Yumna which is a space education organisation. She believes every kid should get answers to their space imaginations which they usually don't get in their classrooms. For that purpose, she is working in affiliation with various international space organizations. Yumna Majeed is a Medical Lab Technologist, graduated from Allama Iqbal Medical College, Lahore.

1st independent evaluation report for last 6 month performance by EILC. Evaluation was based on new set parameters on international standards for effective feedback and improvement. We will share our Annual achievements report by January 2022 inshAllah. I am glad that hundreds of students are getting the high quality skills in a small town in a Government school free of cost . It requires lot of logistics support , communication and mentoring for effective management to get the true outcome. Blessing from Allah !

To keep the center environment friendly for students we have installed the cooling system at EILC.

We are going to start an initiative to produce Scientists of any field. We are going to have our 1st annual seminar on " How you can go to USA, Europe, Japan, UK, Korea, Italy, and other countries for master degree and Ph.D. programs on scholarship"

Guest Speaker: Amir Souhail, is currently a Ph.D. student at the Institute of BioRobotics, will be live from Italy. He did his Master's of Engineering from Prince of Songkla University, Thailand. He completed his Bachelor of Engineering from Namal University, Pakistan.

Dr. Aamir will present the timeline of career for any Science Subjects after Fsc until P.h.D. live from the USA via zoom.

A project to change the destination!

Thank you alot professor Dr. Naweed Syed from Canada , who gave the lecture on " let us discover a Scientist in you ". Dr. Syed is well renowned Scientist based in Canada.

It was full of knowledge, career guidance and his invention of brain chip. He also talked about future of humanity and its impact. His speech was perfect combination of Islam , Quran and Science.

We will be hosting the first session with students at EILC Shah Jamal Pakistan with Dr. Naweed Syed who is a renowned international speaker for scientific innovation on February 29th, 2021 from Canada and the USA.

Dr. Naweed Syed is Professor and Scientific Director of the Alberta Children’s Hospital Research Institute, Cu***ng School of Medicine, University of Calgary. He was also the Postdoctoral Program Director – Office of the Vice President (Research) from 2012 – 2016 and a special advisor to the Vice President Research.

• Dr. Syed obtained his Master's degree from the University of Karachi, Pakistan in 1984, and PhD in neurophysiology from the University of Leeds, UK (1988). After a three year postdoctoral training at the University of Calgary (1988-1991), he was subsequently appointed as an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Medicine. Dr. Syed has served as a Department Head for Cell Biology and Anatomy for 10 years and was the Research Director for the Hotchkiss Brain Institute.

• Dr. Syed has been the recipient of many international and national awards including: Alfred P. Sloan Fellowship (USA), Parker B. Francis Fellowship (USA), Alberta Heritage Foundation for Medical Research Scholar, Senior Scholar and Scientist Awards, Canadian Institute for Health Research (CIHR) Investigator Award and the Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh. In 2016, Dr. Syed was awarded the Tamgha-i-Imtiaz (Medal of Excellence – the highest civilian award for research and innovation) from the Government of Pakistan. He has also been identified and recognized amongst 150 Canadian Innovations/ Innovators in lieu of Canada’s 150 Birthday this year. Dr. Syed is also the recipient of Canada-150 Medal by the Senate of Canada.

• Dr. Syed's team was the first to develop a bionic hybrid which enabled direct dialogue between the brain cells and the silicon chip. This study was highlighted in Time Magazine and on the Discovery Channel, Global, and Mail etc. Dr. Syed has published extensively in peer-reviewed scientific journals including Nature, Science, Neuron and the Journal of Neuroscience. He holds multiple research grants from the Canadian Institute of Health Research and the Natural Science and Engineering Council of Canada. He has also been a co-PI on CIHR and CFI team grants. Dr. Syed also serves on several national and international grant panels and is a member of several scientific advisory boards. Dr. Syed has trained over 54 Ph.D. and MSc students and 19 postdoctoral scholars. He has published over 130 papers in peer-reviewed journals such as Science, Nature, Neuron, and Journal of Neuroscience.
