New admissions of 1st semester BS M.Phil classes/Orientation starts from Tuesday.

The M.Phil Microbiology and Molecular Genetics admissions G*T test at the University of Okara is scheduled for Friday, September 22nd, at 10:00 AM. Following the test, interviews will be conducted on the same date at 11:30 AM at the PhD Block MMG Lab, University of Okara.

Admission fall,2023. For queries and information about admission, please contact these numbers:-

■ Apply online at http://admissions.uo.edu.pk Admissions in the under-graduate programs shall be offered in Fall-2023 where the 2nd year result awaiting students can also apply to these programs. The merit of result waiting students shall be determined based on the 1st year results, however, concerned department may imposed additional conditions i.e. specific percentage of marks in 2nd year examination.

■ Admission in graduate programs (MS/M.Phil/PhD, dully approved by statuary bodies, UO) shall be offered in Fall-2023.

■ For admission in MS/M.Phil. Programs, the result awaiting students (of final term) can apply, the merit of such students will be determined based on recent/last (minimum 7th for 8-semester programs or 5th semester intake, and 3rd in case of MSc/MA/4-semester programs) semester results. The admission of result waiting students shall be provisional and shall stand cancelled in case the student failed to meet the minimum eligibility criteria as set by the department. Student must agree to the terms and conditions of provisional admission while applying via online application form.
■The candidate must provide the awaited-result immediately after once it is declared by the relevant Board/University.

■ In case minimum class size in a particular program is not met, the university reserves the right to t cancel admissions in such programs.

■ The students who fail to fulfill the admission criteria, or failed to maintain the eligibility, as set by the concerned department, after the result of the waiting student is declared, their fee will be refunded as per existing financial rules laid down by the Finance & Planning Committee, University of Okara.

■ The admission processing fee of Rs. 500/- will be charged for applying in first BS/BS 5th e intake/equivalent level degree program and Rs. 200/- will be applicable against each additional application.

■ The admission processing fee of Rs. 1000/- will be charged for applying in MS/MPhil and PhD 1 programs, and Rs.500/- will be applicable against each additional application.

■ Separate applications will be required in case of quota. eChallans will be generated by the Online Admissions Software.

■ After depositing the challan fee, keep the challan receipt with you and present it to the University (relevant department) after the display of merit lists.

■ For online registration, please provide your email IDs as all the information will be shared via emails. Moreover, candidates are advised to remember their Login details which are generated in the signup t process. Otherwise, candidates cannot be able to recover their passwords and receive other necessary information.

■ Hand written applications will not be entertained.
