🤲Yaa Allah! Enable them to be of the pious, most Allah conscious, most generous, most charitable, most respected, most knowledgeable and most sincere advisors......
🤲Yaa Allah hold them amongst those who you love most. Guide them in every step of their lives to make decision and actions pleasing to you.

Indeed there is no better protector than You. No better quide than Yourself. Ya rabil alameen bestow the best of Your Mercy on our children and the future generations.

Mindful Language
Expletives, bad words and cusses is what we will hear when we see youth talking to each other. They feel the need to drop a few swear words every now and then just to ”fit in” or “sound cool”!

It is sad to see that we are in a time where obscenity, vulgarity and lewdness are becoming more and more a part of one’s life and persona. Cursing is an act that distances us from Allah, and being a Muslim will we like that?
A true believer will never use an abusive language and he is mindful of what he utters. He knows that it’s not befitting for a Muslim to curse, taunt or abuse anyone.

Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم said, ““The believer is not a slanderer, one who curses a great deal, one who indulges in obscenity or who in engages in
foul talk.” (Tirmidhi)

Hold yourself to high morals and if you find someone using a foul language stop and advise. If that is not possible then make du’a for them.

May Allah allow us to use our tongue wisely and may we only utter what is pleasing to Him

Mindful Parenting

Alhamdulillah Allah has entrusted us with our children and we strive hard to raise them in a manner that is pleasing to Allah. The key is to be mindful of our actions as we interact with our children and follow the best of examples. Who else can be the best example for us than our beloved صلى الله عليه و سلم, No One!
Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم was kind, loving, compassionate and without a doubt he was the most merciful with children, whether or not they were his own.

Here is some parenting advice that we learn from Sunnah:
1. Lead them with kindness & Mercy
2. Talk the talk – Be mindful of your speech. Don’t use bad words, don’t lie, speak positive words of encouragement and refrain from backbiting.
3. Children See, Children do – Do not just talk about it, be about it! Children see our actions.
4. Listen - Children have times where they need to be heard and yearn for your attention
5. Teach them empathy – The best way to teach them empathy is to involve them with community work and different charity drives
6. Consciousness- Teach them to be conscious of their surroundings, remember to remove an harmful object from a path is a sunnah!
7- Make Dua for them!

May Allah make us all better examples for our children and make us leaders for them towards righteousness.

One the things beloved to Allah are the Faraidh, the obligatory. It is for this reason that Allah gave us no option but to follow them. Amongst those obligatory actions, the foremost is Salah, the prayers.

The Prophet (صلى الله عليه و سلم ) said: “The first thing among their deeds for which the people will be brought to account on the Day of Resurrection will be prayer..” (Abu Dawood)

Ramadan is a month where our Eeman is high and we try to do our best. It is a good month to practice Khush’oo in our prayers. If we pray with concentration in Ramadan, it is bound to continue in the days after.

Some of the steps to attain Khush’oo and be mindful in prayers are:
-Learn the meanings of the prayer.
-Understand the rewards and benefits of prayer.
-Pray as if Allah is watching us.
-Understand the greatness of the One we stand before.

May Allah grant us the ability to pray like the Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم and grant us Khush’oo in our prayers

Assalamoalaikum wrahmatullahi wabarakaatuh ..🌸❤

Here is a reminder to ponder seriously ..
Take one minute from your busy routine and think that You came naked, you will go naked.
You arrived weak, you will leave weak.
You came without money and things, you will leave without money and things.
Your first bath? Someone washed you.
Your last bath? Someone will wash you.

This is life!!!
So why so much malice, so much envy, so much hate, so much resentment and so much selfishness?

BE KIND to everyone and do good deeds.
We have limited time on Earth don’t waste it in uselessness.

Turn to Allah before you return to Allah
Ask for Allah's forgiveness before it's too late .. 😭🤲

Ramadan is not just a time of controlling our thirst and hunger but also control of our emotions, especially negative emotions. We often see people worshiping Allah more or doing more charity around us and we become envious. Ramadan is a time of healthy competition. We should be motivated by others’ good work and try to emulate their ways rather than becoming envious and wanting bad for them. In this way, negative thoughts are diminished and people get rewards for motivating each other.

Allah reminds us in the Quran:
‎ وَتَعَاوَنُوا عَلَى الْبِرِّ وَالتَّقْوَىٰ وَلَا تَعَاوَنُوا عَلَى الْإِثْمِ وَالْعُدْوَانِ
Help you one another in Al-Birr and At-Taqwa (virtue, righteousness and piety); but do not help one another in sin and transgression. (6:2)

May Allah protect us from being envious of others or others becoming envious of us.

Thinking well of others relieves the heart, makes us content, protects us from thoughts that disrupt our peace and frees the heart from hatred.

Allah(swt) and Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم warned us about assuming ill of someone as that might lead to sinning. Here are some ways how we can tune our selves to thinking well other:

1- Make excuses for others.
2- Try putting yourself in their place
3- Make Du’a for that person
4- Interpret their actions or words in the best possible ways
5- Refrain from judgement
6- Remind yourself about the Harmful consequences of assuming ill.

There are many ways that we can think well of others and these are just some of them.
