What is DPT & Its Scope

DPT stands for the doctorate in physical therapy. It's 5 years professional degree in which we learn how to treat physically abnormal patients. We treat them using different electrical modalities, hand techniques, and exercises.

Admission criteria for DPT

You need at least 60% marks in FSC to get admission in DPT. But I suggest you take admission in some renowned medical college or govt institutes rather than the private ones.

Scope of DPT

To be honest, people who took admission in DPT are struggling to get jobs after graduation as there is much saturation now. There is no council for DPT due which we are facing a lack of jobs and dignity.
You can run your own physio clinic independently but for the independent setup, you need to invest a lot. Govt jobs are not enough. And the academic side needs an MS or Ph.D. at least.
But yes if you pursue foreign lisence then this field is best for you as there is tremendous scope in other countries.

So all the mdcatians are looking for the admissions in MBBS and BDS but u all ppl know, all the mdcatians can not get the seats for MBBS and BDS..... Will it be end of ur life after not taking admission in MBBS??
I think No.... Here i m discussing about the medical fields that are surely alternative to the MBBS and BDS..I m sure after reading this post, u will change ur perception and u will be interested in these medical fields😊🖤..

1...DVM
our society called them DANGER DOCTOR.... Believe me so called title is very strange but u must know most DVM doctors are earning more than MBBS doctor. It is one of the best option for boys who can't take admission in MBBS and BDS.

A... U can join the pak army as a veternarian.
B.... U can start ur own clinic like mbbs doctor.
C.... U can get 17 scale in govt sector

2..DPT
Dpt has wide scope in many areas of specialization. In this degree, u have to study anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, kinesology, pharmacology and more than 20 more subjects. U can use prefix Dr with ur name followed by word PT.
Doctor of physiotherapist makes a patient's disabled organ working again with the help of medicine, exercise and do much more things.

C...... U can join PCB as a physiotherapist
After specialisation in sports medicine.
D...... U can run ur own clinic if u dont find a job like BDS doctor.

D. PHARM is professional degree in pharmacy.

A..... Can work in industry as a pharmacist
B...... Can work in a hospital as a pharmacist.
C...... Can be a consultant of pharmacy
D..... Community pharmacy ⚕

4..... BSC(HONS) BIOTECHNOLOGY

as u have studied in school level education that a biotechnologist deal with the tiny creature to make some vaccines and drugs that are beneficial for humanity.its scope is increasing day by day and their salaries are also good..

They test the disease and make the reports in labs for particular disease. They also give pieces of advices to doctors after the reports are ready.they work with computers, diagnostic machinary and other instruments.

They make the dentures, crown, bridges and dental braces that improves patients appearance, speech and ability to chew... It sounds easy but u have to complete the degree in order to do that.

7... BSC(HONS) DOCTOR OPTOMETRY (OD)
OD provides vision therapy and weak eye sight rehabilitation.
It is the practice of examinig the eyes and applicable visual system for defects in eyesight and evaluate visual perception.

8-Details of academics and concerns regarding mushrooming of Institutes.

9-The equivalency of International Education(USA etc).

10-Progress and awareness of the profession.
