Cavernous sinus thrombosis: one of the dangerous and fatal complication of nasal boil.

This 19 year old patient presented to the our emergency with the complaint of spelling over the nose for last one day and her condition was very measurable as shown in first picture. Urgent incision and drainage was performed and was sent for culture and sensitivity which reveal MRSA +ive infection. 2nd picture is of same patient taken on fourth post operative day showing marked improvement of infection and prevention from the complication like cavernous sinus thrombosis and ultimate death. Incision was left open for resolution of infection and will be secondarily closed, that too along the akin crease and will be cosmetically adjusted.

Removal of large nasoalveolar benign tumor through lateral rhinotomy approach. Surgery was performed free of cost to the patient through the facility of sehat insaaf card at sadaf specialized hospital islamabad.
Patient presented with nasal blockage and firm swelling in left nasal cavity. Lateral nasal wall was intact. Tumor is removed via lateral rhinotomy approach and alar skin is then sutured
Preoperative diagnosis was nasoalveolar cyst, per op finding and more consistent with benign lesion like lipoma/fibroma. Specimen removed and sent for histopathology

THIS 6YEAR OLD MALE PATIENT WAS PRESENTED WITH OBSTRUCTED CHICKEN BONE ACCIDENTALLY INGESTED WILHILE TAKING MEAL AT THE UPPER END OF ESOPHAGUS (FOOD PIPE). WE DID HIS ESOPHAGOSCOPY AND BONE WAS RETRIEVED.
WHEN THE PATIENT PRESENTED, HE WAS IN SEVERE AGONY AND PAIN. PATIENT HAS BEEN WELL MANAGED AND DISCHARGED UNDER NORMAL CONDITION

FORIGN BODY ESOPHAGUS IS ONE OF THE MAJOR EMERGENCY IN OTOLARYNGOLOGY AND NEEDS URGENT ASSESSMENT WITH JUDICIOUS INTERVENTION. OTHERWISE IT MAY LEAD TO VERY SERIOUS COMPLICATIONS

A 20 year old female patient from Khanna West islamabad presented to our opd with complaint of chicken bone being stuck in throat while taking meal. Patient was in acute pain and distress, xray was done showing piece of bone, ultimately Foreign body(a piece of chicken bone) from throat is removed by doing esophagoscopy under anaesthesia
