HOW ACNE CAN BE TREATED BY USING LACTOBACILLI?
Acne is a condition of having pimples of black head or white head usually occur on face.It is caused by lesion bacteria such as STAPHYLOCOCCUS AURES,STREPTOCOCUS PYROGES etc.
To treat ACNE at initial stage normally creams are used which consist of Peroxidase,Salicyclic acid.If the creams are not helping to reduce the symptoms then antibiotics are prescribed but sometime excess use of antibiotics causes antibiotic resistance.
The scientist are exploring new techniques to treat Acne.As Lactobacilli is flora bacteria and usually found in human gut.An experiment was performed in few days before in which LACTOBACILLI ACIDOPHILUS is used in creams and applied for one week twice a day.The results proved that Acne was reduced for four weeks after one week use of creams.
But it was only a test now experiments are still going on to improve it further

What are probiotics?
They are live microrganism when consumed enhance or remaintain the quality of health.
Why probiotics are used?
They are not used under normal conditions but when body is subjected to antibiotics or other means of chemical therapy it causes decreases in number of flora in body especially in gut and causes many diaseases such as diahorea, vomiting etc
For such cases probiotics(yougurt) is taken which contain lactobacillus,bifidobacterium and many of flora bacteria which reconstruct their population in human gut.

PURPLE SULPHUR BACTERIA
Type of anaerobic/microaerophilic bacteria which don't produce oxygen as byproduct in photosynthesis.
Because here the electron donor in photosystem 1 is not water it is either sulphide ion(S_2) or thiosulphate ion or hydrogen sulphide gas(H2S).
This bacteria can also be used in bioremediation process i.e removal of waste from environment such as :
1)Methane(this bacteria uses it's carbon to produce sugar i.e Carbohydrates)
2)Reduction of hydrogen sulphide gas.(and giving off hydrogen to environment).
HOW PHOTOSYNTHESIS OCCUR IN BACTERIA?
For photosynthesis in bacteria they contain specially chlorophyll known as
1)Bacteriochlorophyll(It consist of b.chlorophyll a,b,c,d,e,f,g.which decide the colour of bacteria like in purple bacteria the major bacteriophyll are a,b)
2) Chromatophores (they are vesicles which contain pigment for photosynthesis and the vesicles are derived from plasma membrane)

Cyanobacteria is the only living bacteria which produce oxygen as by product in photosynthesis.After the formation of earth they increases concentration of oxygen in the atmosphere. Scientist thought that they can also increase the concentration of oxygen in the atmosphere of of Mars so which can fulfill the first requirement of human survival.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS FOR PHOTOSYNTHESIS:
The basic requirement for the photosynthesis of cyanobacteria are
1) Carbon dioxide
2)Water
3)Sunlight.
About 95% of carbon dioxide,14% of water and0.06% of oxygen is present in atmosphere of Mars.
