Exclusively for the participating teams, UCMD Research Hackathon provides an opportunity to learn and explore their potentials.
In the series of webinars, this is the first one we are presenting on Policy Perspective and Mass Immunization regarding Covid.

We are really grateful for your interest and support, however, we could only choose a limited number of teams for the final participation. We wouldn’t be able to entertain more queries in this regard.

UCMD RESEARCH HACKATHON

A premiere, two day research event, exclusively organised at the University College of Medicine and Denstistry - UOL, on Barriers to Effective Mass Immunization Against COVID-19. Scheduled to take place on 25th and 26th September, UCMD Research Hackathon is packed with wholesome academic and social experience, bringing young minds one step closer towards becoming researchers!

Day 1 involves root cause analysis of the topic.

Day 2 involves systemic solutions for the coming one year.

Participants are expected to make presentations, electronic posters or even write research papers, it is entirely at their disposal.

5 members are allowed per team along with an appointed mentor.

Registration fee is Rs. 3000 per person (including the mentor).

The cost is inclusive of all the incentives/prizes, refreshments, lunch, and socials including formal dinner with live BBQ and Qawali Night.

Subsidised accommodations will be provided on first come first serve basis.

Hey guys! My name is Rahma Arshad and I’ll be your Director of Registrations for UCMD Research Hackathon 2021. I am a first year MBBS student at UCMD and I enjoy watching anime, baking, singing and playing the ukelele (and recently the guitar too) when I’m not busy slamming my face into med books. This Hackathon holds a very special place in my heart, witnessing my friends and esteemed seniors dream of holding a Research Hackathon. And then finally succeeding at holding the first-ever UCMD Research Hackathon was a heartwarming and inspiring experience, to say the least. The splendid beginnings of this tale give us a lot to live up to, despite these unprecedented times when our daily lives have been disrupted. I can say with confidence that our team's hard work and passion will make this chapter of the UCMD Research Hackathon a memorable one.
