Kilao Dry Fruit ❤️
Kilao is walnut coated with grapes juice (juice contain grapes, apricot, and mulberries). Which gives the walnut a very different taste. It is very famous also in our region due to it’s unique flavor and taste. It originates from Ghizer valley.
It’s a multiple steps process to make and takes 2-3 weeks to fully prepare. The first step is to thread walnut kernels. Second step is cooking the mulberry juice, the third step is to sock threaded walnut kernels into this mulberry paste. It is then left for drying in the sun.
