Qiraat and Naat competition at University Level , on 28th November 2023,held at Kamyab Jawan Markaz, Baghdad ul Jadeed Campus Islamia University Bahawalpur.
Memoona Ameen from 2nd prof BEMS won competition by securing 2nd Position🥈 and earned a name to department✨.
The competition was Organized by IUB Qiraat & Naat Society under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar, Vice Chancellor IUB, Prof. Dr. Abdul Rauf, Director Directorate of Students Affairs, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Dr. M. Adnan Bukhari Additional Director Students Affairs,Societies, Dr.M. Saeed Sheikh ,Advisor Qiraat And Naat Society.

BEMS 3rd Prof and BEMS Students Club IUB Host Plant Labeling Exhibition Competition to Promote Herbal Medicine Knowledge

The BEMS 3rd Prof, in association with the BEMS Students Club, organized an informative and engaging Plant Labeling Exhibition Competition under the esteemed guidance of Madam Ume Habiba. The competition aimed to foster a deeper understanding among students about the medicinal significance of herbal medicine, a time-honored healing tradition with profound benefits.

Dr. Hafiz Muhammad Asif, Principal, University College of Conventional Medicine-IUB , and esteemed BEMS faculty members graced the event as esteemed guests, lending their expertise to evaluate the students' meticulous work and dedication to the subject.

Sijil Fatima and Saba Munir emerged victorious, claiming the first position for their insightful and comprehensive labeling of pomegranate, showcasing the fruit's remarkable medicinal properties. Anila Khalid , Shagufta Khalid and Aqsa Kareem's Group followed closely, securing the second position for their equally impressive labeling of mango, highlighting its nutritional value and therapeutic potential.

Dr. Hafiz Muhammad Asif commended the outstanding efforts of Madam Um e Habiba and the participating students, recognizing their passion for herbal medicine and their commitment to learning and exploration. He emphasized the importance of preserving and promoting traditional herbal knowledge, acknowledging its role in holistic healthcare practices.

To honor the achievements of the top-performing students, Dr. Hafiz Muhammad Asif, DrGhazala Shaheen , Dr. Rabia Zahid, and Dr. Jalil Ur Rehman presented certificates of appreciation, applauding their brilliance and dedication to the subject.

The exhibition also featured a captivating display of herbal products from leading industries, including Hamdard,Qarshi, Herbion, Ahsan Herbal, and Ajmal, offering a glimpse into the vast array of herbal remedies available for various health concerns.

This enriching event served as a valuable platform for students to delve into the world of herbal medicine, expanding their knowledge and appreciation for this time-tested healing approach. The competition not only fostered a deeper understanding of pharmacognosy but also ignited a passion for exploring the immense potential of herbal remedies in promoting holistic well-being.

University College of Conventional Medicine-IUB Embarks on a Journey of Cupping Therapy

Under the esteemed guidance of Dr. Jalil Ur Rehman and Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ansari, the University College of Conventional Medicine-IUB hosted an informative workshop on Cupping Therapy. The first day of the workshop commenced with a captivating address by Dr. Jawad Ishfaq Khan, Principal of Hamayet Islam Tibia College Lahore, who eloquently elucidated the profound significance of cupping therapy in the realm of healthcare. He emphasized its multifaceted applications, particularly in treating a spectrum of ailments, ranging from sciatica and allergies to acne and diabetes.

The workshop drew an enthusiastic participation from the BEMS department and students pursuing a postgraduate diploma in Cupping Therapy. The day concluded with an engaging practical session, where students were expertly guided on the art of treating joint pain and acne patients through cupping therapy. This hands-on approach provided a valuable opportunity for students to delve into the intricacies of this ancient and effective healing modality.

On 17/11/2023, Students of BEMS First Professional have Attended the White Coat Ceremony organized by University College of Conventional Medicine-IUBat Ghotvi Hall Abbasia Campus, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur Pakistan .
Dr. Khalid Mehmood (CEO Ahsaan Herbal Pharma) as a Chief Guest gave White Coats to all the Future Physicians.

Awareness Seminar on Risk and Consequences of Drug Use held today,15 November 2023,at Ghulam Muhammad Ghotvi Hall, Abbasia Campus, IUB organized by Committee for Preparation of Action Plan Regarding Awareness and Discourage the use of Drugs.
The main concern was to inform people about the disadvantages and harmful effects of Addiction causing drugs, the cure of addicted persons and to prevent the usages of such drugs.

Awareness seminar held at Ghotvi Hall Abbassia Campus The Islamia University of Bahawalpur Pakistan , and Worthy Teachers and Principal University College of Conventional Medicine-IUB Dr.Hafiz Muhammad Asif addressed and walked for Kashmir Freedom Movement.
On Oct. 27, 1947, Indian troops positioned themselves in Kashmir's largest city, Srinagar, after India and Pakistan gained their independence from the British colonial rule. The anniversary of this Indian action is observed by Pakistanis 🇵🇰 and Kashmiris as "Black Day".
Pakistan commemorates and pays tribute to the martyrs who gave their lives in the fight for Kashmiri Independence.

We celebrate this day to reinforce and show support for the Kashmiri Freedom Movement.
