18 Benefits of (Salah) Prayer:
1 - Prayer is something that causes one to receive sustenance.
2 - It is something that safeguards one’s physical health.
3 - It keeps away harmful things.
4 - It casts away illnesses.
5 - It strengthens the heart.
6 - It brightens one’s countenance.
7 - It delights the soul.
8 - It gets rid of laziness.
9 - It makes the limbs active.
10 - It increases one’s physical strength.
11 - It expands the chest (making one at ease
and giving him insight).
12 - It is nourishment for the soul.
13 - It illuminates the heart.
14 - It safeguards one’s blessings.
15 - It repels catastrophes.

We all love Dunya.
We all love the worldly life and all the glamour it contains, from its cars, to its houses, to its wealth and all the luxuries it has to offer. We desire its riches, its comforts and the sparks of happiness it brings. We love it. It's a fact none of us can deny.
Yet the sad part about it is, as much as we love this world, it will never love us back and only ever run away from us. The truth is, this world will only ever temp you, tease you and eventually break your heart.

*بِسْــــــــــــــــــــــمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيْم*
*Allahumma salli wa sallim alaa Nabiyyinaa Muhammad ﷺ*
A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, *’O Messenger of Allah! Who among the people is the most worthy of my good companionship?* The Prophet ﷺ said, *”Your mother!”* The man said, ‘Then who?’ The Prophet ﷺ said, *”Then your mother!”* The man further asked, ‘Then who?' The Prophet ﷺ said, *”Then your mother!”* The man asked again, ‘Then who?' The Prophet ﷺ said, *”Then your father!”* (Bukhari, Muslim)
*Mother*
I fought with death when I was giving birth to you. I spent sleepless nights whenever you were sick and crying. I never ate without feeding you first. I bore so many pains to bring you to the stage that you are in today. _How will you repay me my child_?
*Child:*
When I grow up, I will find a good job and earn lots of money for you so you can enjoy the pleasures of this world.
*Mother:*
Your father is doing this already and I do not expect this from you too. By the time you are earning I will be old and will not be in need of any worldly luxuries.
*Son:*
I will find a pious lady and marry her so she can cook for you and take care of you.
*Mother:*
That is not her duty my son and neither should you marry for that reason. It is not compulsory on her to do any service to me, neither do I expect this from her. Your marriage partner should be for you, a companion and a comfort for you as you go through this journey of life.
*Child:*
Tell me mother how can I repay you then?
*Mother:*
(With tears in her eyes) Visit and call me often. A mother only requires this much from you while she is alive.
Then when I die give me your shoulder and bury me.
Whenever you perform prayers; supplicate for me.
Give out in charity for me.
Remember your every good deed will benefit me in this world and be a crown for me in the hereafter so be good and kind always.
Fulfill the rights of all those around you with respect!
_The sleepless nights and pains I took to bring you up was not a favour to you, but was for my creator. Almighty Allah blessed me with you as a beautiful gift and as a means for me to attain His pleasure. Your every good deed becomes my repayment._
