PSEC is a NGO working on Educational Crisis in Pakistan. Pakistan today faces an education crisis of unprecedented
proportions.
There are 24 million boys and girls out of school—that’s
nearly half of all children in the country. Of those children who do go to school, the vast majority receive an education of poor quality. 45% of government schools are in a dangerous or dilapidated condition and lack basic facilities such as furniture, bathrooms, boundary walls, electricity, library, labs and running water. On any given da
y, 11% of teachers are absent from the classroom. Corporal punishment is widespread and remains unchecked.Budget allocations for education are insufficient and funds that are available are not spent effectively. One of every Ten students in College/University in Pakistan is Drug Addict. Under the Constitution of Pakistan, Article 25-A, it is the responsibility of the state to provide free and compulsory education to every child between the ages of 5 and 16. Many students attempt su***de because of Emotional Torture and others can’t perform well in their Academic & Daily Life which results in leaving education. Feel free to contact us for any type of issue. We are here to solve these issues in our Educaton Society.
