Father, I know my sin, rebellion, and unfaithfulness have hurt you and your cause in my time as much as the sins of those in the Bible hurt in the past. O Father, please forgive us for choosing leaders for the wrong reasons and for selecting those to lead us who have bad character but are successful in other places. Please raise up leaders at every level of our Christian communities and churches with integrity of character and a deep concern for people. We pray this together, in the name of the Savior, Jesus.
