چند روز قبل پاکستان کے محکمہ موسمیات نے گلگت بلتستان میں گلیشیئر کے پھٹنے کے ممکنہ خطرے کے حوالے سے ایک انتباہ جاری کیا تھا،
گلگت بلتستان ڈیزاسٹر مینجمنٹ کے ڈائریکٹر کمال الدین قمر نے وائس آف امریکہ کو اس کی تفصیلات سے آ گاہ کیا۔

GBEPA, organized an orientation session on Occupational Health ,Safety and Environment (OSHE) today on May 24th,2023 for the KIU grad students of Environmnetal Sciences Department, Cohort-I at Eco-Tech Oasis,Chilmish, GB.
The DES, have nominated 18 grad students from different semesters, the students will be trained hands-on , on HSE till four(4)days, and will get a certificate of completion after going through an exam.
They will be trained to make a career in occupational health and safety which is career oriented and have job prospects in GB and abroad. This training have been organized on directives of the worthy Chief Secretary at Eco-Tech Oasis at Chimish Das Gilgit
Formal dates of the training will be communicated soon.
