Veterinary Medical Camp in Binda Rasheed Pur 18 Hazari, jhang, an initiative of Department of Clinical Sciences CVAS Jhang ..!

A commendable effort towards animal welfare and education unfolded at Binda Rasheed Pur, 18 Hazari, Jhang, as the Department of Clinical Sciences CVAS Jhang in collaboration with Vet Crescent Society CVAS Jhang and IVSA CVAS Jhang, organized a free veterinary camp on 22 Feb ,2024 .The event witnessed a convergence of expertise and compassion, aimed at addressing the healthcare needs of the local livestock.

Mehar Abid Sanpal, alongside Dr. Kashif Raza, VO CVH Athara Hazari, and Zahid Hussain Malik, a final year student at CVAS Jhang, warmly welcomed the participating students. Dr. Kasif Raza shared insights into animal health and conditions, guiding the students on proper vaccination protocols to be followed in Rasheed pur 18 Hazari.

The camp received invaluable guidance from Dr. Farhan Ahmed Atif, Chairman of the Department of Clinical Sciences at CVAS Jhang, who underscored the importance of extension work in rural communities. Dr. Farhan Ahmed Atif addressed to farmers and students, shed light on various livestock-related issues and provided practical solutions.

Dr. M Kashif, Associate Professor of Medicine, and Dr. Mubashar Hassan, Assistant Professor in the Theriogenology Section, lent their expertise in diagnosing and treating animals. Dr. Mubashar Hassan conducted ultrasounds of various animals and addressed the reproductive issues of animals, while Dr. Abdul Mateen, Lecturer in Surgery, prescribed optimal treatments after thorough examinations.

Students were actively involved in the camp, divided into groups under the kind supervision of experienced veterinarians. Their participation not only provided hands-on experience but also reinforced the importance of community engagement in animal welfare.

In closing, Mehar Abid Sanpal expressed gratitude to the Department of Clinical Sciences, CVAS Jhang, for their exemplary extension work in Rasheed Pur. The event not only fostered cooperation between academia and local communities but also highlighted the pivotal role of veterinary professionals in ensuring the well-being of animals.

We stand with Kashmir!

Keeping on its legacy, Pukaar: The Debating Society of CVAS Jhang organized an event on "KASHMIR BLACK DAY".
On October 27, 2023, the students and faculty members of the College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Jhang, came together to commemorate the enduring hardships and sacrifices endured by the people of Kashmir in their pursuit of just rights. A solidarity walk was organized, with students demonstrating unwavering support for their Kashmiri brothers and sisters.

Dr. Sayyed Aun Muhammad opened the event with remarks condemning the injustices in Kashmir and encouraging the youth to stand with the oppressed. Students were allowed to express their solidarity with Kashmiris.
Maida Azam, M. Faisal, Ahmad Amjad, and Umar Tahir passionately voiced their support for the Kashmir cause. Prof. Dr. Ihtasham Khan delivered closing remarks, emphasizing the importance of unity and unwavering advocacy for the oppressed.

One day Session on Preparation of HAT and GRE conducted at CVAS Jhang. Dr. Muhammad Farooq (pH.D France) was Resource Person.
