شہید بینظیر بھٹو یونیورسٹی شرینگل کے وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد شہاب کے زیر صدارت27 ویں اے ایس آر بی اجلاس کا انعقاد ہوا جسمیں ایم فل اور پی ایچ ڈی سکالرز کے ریسرچ موضوعات کی منظوری دے دی گئ۔
اجلاس میں بورڈ کے ممبران پرو وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر سید عبدالخالق جان، ڈاکٹر عالمزیب، ڈاکٹر اللہ دتہ، ڈاکٹر آصف نواز،ڈاکٹر محمد نواز خان، ڈاکٹر خان شیراور ڈاکٹر امین اللہ نے شرکت کی۔

It is notified for the general information of all concerned that the infrastructure and road blockages as well as temporary distruption of the electricity and internet connections have been considerably addressed and restored to reasonable functions by the concerned authorities and accordingly the University will reopen for it's routine academic as well as administrative activities w.e.f Monday 11-03- 2024 after the temporary closure due to afore mentioned issues.

This is issued with the approval of the Competent Authority.

It is notified for the information of all concerned that the University teaching departments, subcampus, University public schools & colleges and administrative offices shall remain closed W.e.f 04-03-2024 till further orders due to road blockages, sliding and non-availability of electricity/net facility in the area as a result of ongoing heavy snowfall and rains. The Security and Conservancy Staff shall however remain on duty as per their duty roasters issued by their concerned HOD's.
The faculty will arrange extra classes for students later due to this unavoidable closure of the University.

Associate Degree Science/ Arts Spring Semester Results Announced. Congratulations to the Position holders.

شہید بے نظیر بھٹو یونیورسٹی شرینگل میں یوم یکجہتی کشمیر کے حوالے سے سیمینار اور واک کا انعقاد،انتظامی افسران اور دیگرملازمین نے شرکت کی۔ تفصیلات کیمطابق شہید بینظیربھٹو یونیورسٹی شرینگل کے ویڈیو کانفرنس ھال میں یوم یکجہتی کشمیر کے حوالے سے سیمینار کا انعقاد کیا گیا۔جس میں وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد شہاب،ڈائیرکٹر فنانس، اسسٹنٹ کمشنر شرینگل محمد بلال نصیر، ڈاکٹر محمد نوازخان، ڈاکٹر واجد رضا،محمد نواز خان (سوشیالوجی)ڈپٹی ڈائیریکٹر ایڈمنسٹریشن، اسسٹنٹ رجسٹرار،فکلٹی ممبران اور جامعہ کے ملازمین نے کثیر تعداد میں شرکت کی۔سیمینار میں مظلوم کشمیریوں کے ساتھ یکجہتی کیلئے ایک منٹ کی خاموشی اختیار کی گئ۔ڈاکٹر محمد نواز خان نے مسلہ کشمیر کی تاریخی پس منظر پر تفصیلی گفتگو کی۔شرکاء سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد شہاب نے کشمیر کے حوالے سے پاکستان کے موقف کو دہرایا۔اور کہا کہ مسلہ کشمیر کا واحد منصفانہ حل یونائیٹڈ نیشنز کے قرادادوں پر من وعن عمل کرنے میں ہے ۔انہوں نے کہا کہ انتہا پسند بھارت کے ناجائز قبضہ اور نہتے کشمیریوں پر مظالم کے خلاف احتجاج جاری رکھیں گے۔سیمینار کے بعد جامعہ میں یکجہتی واک،پرچم کشائی،اور دعائیہ تقریب کا اہتمام کیا گیا ۔

شہید بے نظیر بھٹو یونیورسٹی، شیرینگل میں 'امن کی تعلیم اور بات چیت' کے موضوع پر دو روزہ ورکشاپ اپنے اختتام کو پہنچا۔ یہ تقریب، انسٹی ٹیوٹ آف انٹرنیشنل ایجوکیشن (IIE) اور یونائیٹڈ اسٹیٹس ایجوکیشنل فاؤنڈیشن (USEF) کی سرپرستی میں منعقد ہوئی۔ یہ ورکشاپ امریکی حکومت، انسٹیٹیوٹ آف انٹرنیشنل ایجوکیشن فاؤنڈیشن کی تعاون سے منعقد کیا

اس پراجیکٹ کا مقصد امن کے پیغام کو پھیلانا، اساتذہ کو مؤثر طریقے سے امن کی تعلیم دینے اور اس اہم پیغام کو ان کے تدریسی طریقہ کار کے ذریعے پھیلانے کے آلات سے لیس کرنا ہے۔ پرنسپل انویسٹی گیٹر، ڈاکٹر اعتبار خان، اس اقدام کے پیچھے کارفرما ہے، انہوں نے ورکشاپ کے موضوع اور مقاصد کے بارے میں شرکاء کو آگاہ کیا۔

وائس چانسلر، ایس بی بی یو شیرینگل ، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد شہاب ، نے ورکشاپ کے اختتامی تقریب میں شرکت کی۔ انہوں نے پرنسپل انویسٹیگٹر ڈاکٹر عتبار خان اور ان کے ٹیم کا شکریہ ادا کیا۔ شرکاء سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ ایسی تقاریب منعقد کرنا وقت کی اہم ضرورت ہے۔ پروگرام کے اختتامی مراحل میں انہوں نے فیکلٹی ممبران اور طلبا میں اسناد تقسیم کیے۔ اس کے ساتھ ساتھ انہوں نے امن کو فروغ دینے میں اجتماعی کوششوں کی اہمیت پر زور دیا۔

اس تقریب کے لیے کوآرڈینیشن کے سربراہ ڈاکٹر محمد آصف نواز تھے جو شہید بینظیر بھٹو یونیورسٹی کے شعبہ بائیو ٹیکنالوجی کے ایسوسی ایٹ پروفیسر ہیں، ڈاکٹر آصف نواز نے ورکشاپ کے انعقاد اور سہولت کاری میں اہم کردار ادا کیا، اساتذہ اور ماہرین کو اکٹھا کرکے امن کی تعلیم پر بامعنی بات چیت کے لیے ایک پلیٹ فارم مہیا کیا۔

Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University, Sheringal Upper Dir Hosts Workshop on Teaching and Talking of Peace in Vulnerable Region.

A two day workshop on Peace Education was kicked up at Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University Sheringal.The project is sponsored by the United States Government, and executed by the Institute of International Education (IIE), and the United States Educational Foundation (USEF).

The project aims to disseminate the message of peace, equipping educators with the tools to teach peace effectively and propagate this important message through their teaching methodologies. The principal investigator, Dr. Itbar Khan, a Hubert Humphrey Fellow and the driving force behind this initiative, passionately briefed the participants on the workshop's themes and objectives.

The workshop was inaugurated by Dr. Syed Abdul Khaliq Jan, Pro Vice-Chancellor of SBBU Sheringal Upper Dir, and Prof.Dr.Atta -Ur -Rahman, University of Malakand. Dr. Muhammad Asif Nawaz, Associate Professor in the Department of Biotechnology at Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University played a pivotal role in organizing and facilitating the workshop, bringing together educators and experts to create a platform for meaningful discussions on peace education.
Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University, Sheringal Upper Dir extended heartfelt gratitude to all participants, distinguished speakers, and sponsors whose contribution made the event possible.The participants took keen interest in the discussion, and appreciated the activity, and expressed hope that the activity will help in highlighting the issue of peace in the region.

World Soil Day celebrations by the Department of Environmental Science, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University Sheringal
A one-day seminar on “World Soil Day” was organized today (December 05, 2023) by the Department of Environmental Science, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University Sheringal in collaboration with the National Cleaner Production Center (NCPC) Morgah, Rawalpindi. The theme of the day was “Water and Soil: A Source of Life”. All the faculty members and students actively participated in the seminar. During the seminar, faculty members including Dr. Allah Ditta, Associate Professor/Chairperson, and Mrs. Riffat Aziz, Lecturer highlighted the importance of Soil and Water for the sustainability of life on earth. Both faculty members emphasized the contamination of soil and water resources due to various contaminants. Finally, the remediation approaches including the phytoremediation were recommended for the decontamination of water and soil resources. During the seminar, a poster and quiz competition was also organized, and appreciation certificates were given to the first three position holders in each category. The Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Shahab, concluded the seminar by emphasizing the role of soil and water in sustaining life on earth, their contamination due to various contaminants, and their sustainable solutions. At the end of the seminar, an awareness walk was also arranged on the university premises.
