Indus Hospital Muzaffargarh

The Emergency Department at IHHN conducted a WHO-ICRC Basic Emergency Care (BEC) Course for paramedics and health professionals from Emergency Medicine (EM) and Family Medicine (FM) Departments.

The 6th iteration of the course was simultaneously conducted at IHHN Karachi, Jubilee Town campus, Lahore and RTEH campus, Muzaffargarh. As of now, through this course, three master trainers, 60 trainers and more than 110 have been trained in the realm of Emergency Medicine (EM) and Family Medicine (FM) to further train local health professionals in emergency lifesaving care of their patients.

IHHN hosts first media meetup in Islamabad. Around 15 journalists from including its President Anwar Raza, Secretary Finance, Nayyer Ali, health beat reporters from Geo News Urdu, PTV News, Newsone Urdu, , Abbtakk, Neo News, Associated Press of Pakistan, Talon News HD, and PNN News Hd attended the session.

A healthy baby boy was born in the flood-hit area of GD Naseer Faqir Jalalani, Sindh, by Indus Hospital & Health Network Lady Health Visitor (LHV) at a health facility established with the support UNFPA Pakistan via IHHN telehealth services. The baby was delivered by IHHN’s dedicated LHV under the tele-supervision of doctor, present at IHHN Fakir Trust Zaibunnisa Primary Care Facility in Karachi.
