🤝 Winter Lottery Success: Our Kemira Gdansk team came together for an internal lottery, and the results are heartwarming! We have raised a substantial amount, and we are thrilled to announce that all funds will be donated to the Father E. Dutkiewicz SAC Hospice in Gdansk. These contributions are making a meaningful impact on those in need. During our Winter Gala we also had the pleasure of finalizing the results of our special lottery. It was a momentous occasion marking our organization's 10th-year anniversary.

🎉 Jumping High for a Cause: Kemira proudly participated in the charity tournament, "Jump High For Santa Claus”, alongside other companies such as JIT Logistics, HLAG, Mali Przedsiębiorcy, Oddyssey Logistics, DNV, GBS Bayer Gdańsk ,Bayer externals, LSEG, Volue. It was more than just a competition; it was a day filled with laughter and fun, all for a good cause. We are delighted to have been part of such a joyous event.

A big shoutout to our incredible team for their enthusiasm and dedication to making a positive impact. Your spirit and commitment to giving back embody the Kemira spirit.

🚀 Exciting News from Kemira Gdańsk! 🚀

This month, our team had the incredible opportunity to participate in a dynamic business fair dedicated to IT students at Helsinki Business College Oy.
We're thrilled to share that we're currently promoting our Service Desk Internship in Kemira Gdańsk, providing a gateway for aspiring IT professionals to kick-start their careers with us.
A big thank you to the organizers for putting together such a fantastic event! 🙌

On 31st of October we traditionally wore spine-chilling costumes. Best dressed Kemira employees won special gifts. Additionally, every dressed up employee could participate in Halloween lottery and taste some delicious treats 🧛‍♀️ 🧟‍♂️

In September 2023 we celebrated the 6th edition of Kemira Global Challenge with the theme of People. Planet. Play. Every September Kemira employees become extra active – every kilometer counts no matter if you are an elite athlete or just enjoy a casual walk with your dog. The KGC 2023 was once again a great way to bond with colleagues, family and friends, an opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors, and a way to reconnect to your own inner child and have some fun!

How did Gdansk employees do? There were 81 participants registered and in different teams. Our employees have secured great positions in the ranking. Well done to everyone!

Today, 10th of October marks World Mental Health Day, which not only raises awareness of mental health issues, but also stresses out the importance of having breaks at work.

At Kemira BSC Gdansk we have a dedicated area with a massage chair and Kemira Library, where every Kemira employee can read and borrow books about different topics, in different languages.

The area reminds us of the significance of taking breaks, especially during Autumn season, when days get shorter and energy level can drop faster.

Kemira employees can also improve their well-being and take yoga classes conducted by a professional teacher, every Monday at Kemira BSC.

At Kemira, we value well-being and mental health.

It has become a tradition in Kemira Gdansk to support annual Book&Help charity fair. This year we collected 13 616 PLN (around 3 045 EUR).
The money will be utilized for funding a medical equipment for Polanki Children's Hospital in Gdansk.

Yesterday we were globally celebrating Must Win Battles achievements.

On the 20th of April Employer Branding Team hosted ,,Open Day – Bring a Friend’’ event in Gdańsk BSC.

What a fun-packed day it was! We welcomed 20 participants - all of them were referred by our employees!

What were the main highlights of this successful event?

Definitely an office tour where our guests had a chance to meet our departments representatives and learn about different functions, Finnish quiz, Chemistry Workshop run by one of our specialists,
Session with HR’s `where we were teaching about our recruitment process, career opportunities and also provided tips on how to create a perfect CV and also introduced communities within our organization.

Our Winter Charity Action is finished with a great result due to big 💙hearts 💙 of Kemira People!
Over the past three weeks our Gdansk employees donated several hundred kilos of dry and wet cat and dog food, blankets, bowls, toys and collars that will support three animal shelters in Tr-City.

Great job everyone who took part in the action! :) Special thanks to Kemira Gdansk Social Team that coordinated the actions at Kemira. 💙

Every Monday at 4:15 PM our employees can enjoy YOGA in the Kemira office. Yoga helps in growing self-awareness, improving life on every level - the list of benefits here is very long. You should definitely check it out!

Winter time is a wonderful moment to slow down and different reflections come to our mind.
There is absolutely a beautiful tradition in Kemira to organise charity action before Christmas time. This year Kemira decided to join the action "PODZIEL SERCE NA CZTERY ŁAPKI" supporting Tri-City Animal Shelters: PROMYK Schronisko dla Bezdomnych Zwierząt Gdańsk , OTOZ Animals - Schronisko "Ciapkowo" w Gdyni and Schronisko dla Bezdomnych Zwierząt Sopotkowo .
We are collecting food for pets, blankets and toys. All the goods will be delivered to the shelters mid December, so the animals can enjoy gifts during Christmas :)
