Peckerhead, czyli Daniel Rønhave urodzony w 1990 roku DJ i Producent, którego można śmiało uznać za jedną z najważniejszych postaci nowej generacji artystów Early Hardcore.
Swoje pierwsze oficjalne releasy wydawał już w roku 2010 w wytwórniach Night Terror Recordings oraz Headache Records, a do tej pory miał swoje w releasy w jednej z najbardziej popularnych wytwórni naszej muzyki, czyli Mokum Records, ale oprócz Mokuma miał swoje wydania w takich wytwórniach jak: Cyndium, PRSPCT oraz Cenobite Records.
Jeżeli chodzi o karierę DJ-ską to Daniel grał w Niemczech, Holandii, Finlandii czy też rodzimej Danii, także cieszy nas to, że nareszcie będzie można go usłyszeć na Polskiej ziemi!
Zachęcamy do obadania jego muzyki, ponieważ wspaniale oddaje klimat złotej ery hardcore, a niestety jest mniej znaną postacią, szczególnie wśród ludzi zainteresowanych tylko mainstreamem.

In today's episode of History of Hardcore, we will present the profile of the last guest of the Gabbertime event. Ladies and gentlemen, straight from chilly Copenhagen, Peckerhead! 🇩🇰
Peckerhead, also known as Daniel Rønhave, born in 1990, is a DJ and producer who can be considered one of the most important figures of the new generation of Early Hardcore artists.
He released his first official releases in 2010 on labels such as Night Terror Recordings and Headache Records, and so far he has had releases on one of the most popular labels in our music scene, Mokum Records. In addition to Mokum, he has also released music on labels such as Cyndium, PRSPCT, and Cenobite Records.
As for his DJ career, Daniel has played in Germany, the Netherlands, Finland, and his native Denmark, so we are excited that he will finally be able to be heard on Polish soil!
We encourage you to check out his music because it wonderfully captures the atmosphere of the golden era of hardcore, and unfortunately, he is a lesser-known figure, especially among those interested only in mainstream music.
Furthermore, we invite you to join us this Saturday in Wrocław at the Transformator club for another edition of Gabbertime. Projekt Meccano Twins powstał w 2003 roku z inicjatywy dwóch członków Art of Fighters (Luca i Cristian), o których wspominaliśmy wcześniej, kierując się potrzebą stworzenia nowego rodzaju muzyki: połączenia mainstreamowego hardcoru z darkcore'm. Chłopaki inspirowali się takimi artystami jak Prodigy, Daft Punk i Aphex Twin, czyli samymi legendami. Jednak kamieniem milowym w historii grupy było dołączenie do składu zawodnika o imieniu Jose Sendra.

Jose zaczął swoją przygodę z muzyką hardcore w 1998 roku, gdy siostra zabrała go na imprezę Number One, czyli jedną z największych imprez we włoskiej scenie hardcore. W 2010 roku Jose, występując jako Terminal Trauma na wydarzeniu United Hardcore Forces, został zauważony przez Cristiana z Art of Fighters, który dostrzegł w nim potencjał. Dlatego też wkrótce potem Jose został frontmanem oraz producentem grupy. Wejście do składu dało możliwość znalezienia nowych, bardziej alternatywnych i eksperymentalnych dźwięków, a reszta jest już historią. Meccano Twins stworzyli wiele hitów pamiętanych do dzisiaj, takich jak The Industry z Endymionem, Delta Release czy remix hymnu Thunderdome Toxic Hotel. Grali na takich festiwalach jak Art of Fighters, a Meccano Twins występowali na największych festiwalach oraz koncertowali na całym świecie.

🇬🇧 In the 14th episode of Hardcore History, we remain in sunny Italy and will tell the story of two headliners of the Gabbertime event. Dear readers - we invite you to the story of Meccano Twins!

The Meccano Twins project was born in 2003 at the initiative of two members of Art of Fighters (Luca and Cristian), whom we mentioned earlier, guided by the need to create a new kind of music: a blend of mainstream hardcore with darkcore. The guys were inspired by music artists such as Prodigy, Daft Punk, and Aphex Twin, true legends. However, a milestone in the group's history was the addition of a player named Jose Sendra to the lineup.

Jose began his hardcore music journey in 1998 when his sister took him to the Number One event, one of the biggest events in the Italian hardcore scene. In 2010, Jose, performing as Terminal Trauma at the United Hardcore Forces event, was noticed by Cristian from Art of Fighters, who saw potential in him. Therefore, shortly afterward, Jose became the frontman and producer of the group. Joining the lineup provided the opportunity to find new, more alternative and experimental sounds, and the rest is history. Meccano Twins have created many hits remembered to this day, such as "The Industry" with Endymion, "Delta Release," or the remix of the Thunderdome anthem, "Toxic Hotel." They played at festivals like Art of Fighters, and Meccano Twins performed at the biggest festivals and toured worldwide.

W dzisiejszym odcinku Hardcore History opowiemy historię pierwszego headlinera, którego będziecie mogli zobaczyć już 11 maja na
Gabbertime.

Art of Fighters to grupa założona przez trzech artystów: Christiana Nardelliego, Matteo Pittosiego oraz Lucę Loriniego. Cała trójka pochodzi z włoskiego miasta Brescia. Grupa powstała w roku 1997, a chłopaki zaczęli tworzyć muzykę za pomocą FastTrackera.

Przy wsparciu kolejnej legendarnej grupy, The Stunned Guys, w 1999 roku wydali swój pierwszy utwór w wytwórni Traxtorm Records o nazwie "The Beat Can't Change". Rok wydania tego utworu możemy uznać oficjalnie za rozpoczęcie ich kariery. Już w roku 2000 zaczęli grać po całej Europie, a w 2001 roku wydali kolejny singiel "Artwork", a w 2002 roku legendarny utwór "Earthquake". Art of Fighters grali już chyba na całym świecie, czy to w Europie, Azji, obu Amerykach oraz Australii, co umocniło ich pozycję na scenie. Stworzyli wspaniałe hymny na Dominator, Thunderdome oraz Q-base, a w 2007 roku wyszło ich pierwsze oficjalne CD, które miało tę samą nazwę co grupa.

Obecnie w składzie pozostał sam Cristian, i to właśnie on po 25 latach działalności w grupie zagości po raz pierwszy na naszej polskiej ziemi. Z naszej strony serdecznie was zapraszamy na tę imprezę, ponieważ taki booking w Polsce to nie jest nic codziennego, a Gabbertime naprawdę się postarał, a wasza obecność będzie dla nich najlepszym wynagrodzeniem. Za tydzień zaprezentujemy kolejnego headlinera, a tymczasem zachęcamy do obejrzenia seta z Masters of Hardcore z roku 2023.

In today's episode of Hardcore History, we will tell the story of the first headliner, whom you will be able to see on Gabbertime on May 11th.

Art of Fighters is a group founded by three artists: Christian Nardelli, Matteo Pittosi, and Luca Lorini. The trio hails from the Italian city of Brescia. The group was formed in 1997, and the guys started creating music using FastTracker. With the support of another legendary group, The Stunned Guys, in 1999 they released their first track on the Traxtorm Records label titled "The Beat Can't Change". The year of the release of this track can be officially considered the beginning of their career. Already in 2000, they began playing all over Europe, and in 2001 they released another single "Artwork", and in 2002 the legendary track "Earthquake". Art of Fighters has played all over the world, in Europe, Asia, both Americas, and Australia, which strengthened their position on the scene. They created great anthems for Dominator, Thunderdome, and Q-base, and in 2007 their first official CD was released, which had the same name as the group.

Currently, only Cristian remains in the lineup, and it is he who, after 25 years of activity in the group, will visit our Polish grounds for the first time. From our side, we warmly invite you to this event because such a booking in Poland is not an everyday occurrence, and Gabbertime has really made an effort, and your presence will be the best reward for them. Next week we will present another headliner, and in the meantime, we encourage you to watch the set from Masters of Hardcore from 2023.
