Barnjem, a Venezuelan DJ and producer, has been in the electronic music scene since 2016. His journey into electronic music began with a strong interest in Spanish techno, which sparked a passion to explore sound and rhythm. Influenced by artists like Oscar Mulero, Exium, Reeko, Moddullar and A Thousand Details from Portugal, Barnjem was drawn to the hypnotic and powerful nature of techno. He immersed himself in the genre, studying its ins and outs, and started experimenting with his own sound.

In 2017, Barnjem started DJing, refining his skills and developing his style. His sets are known for their thumping basslines and atmospheric vibes.

Three years ago, Barnjem ventured into production, collaborating with his mentor, Joton, on releases for Kobold Records and Newrhythmic Records. These releases showcased his talent for creating intricate and immersive tracks, establishing him as a rising star in the electronic music scene.

Today, Barnjem keeps exploring new horizons in electronic music, taking cues from his favorite artists and the diverse array of sounds around him.

In this episode, BombedAlley extends an invitation to join a distinctive dance journey infused with unexpected emotions, featuring a blend of a dozen proper tracks.

Mário Rodrigues, also known as Bombed Alley, hails from Porto and is a Techno enthusiast with an ultra-fine taste in his musical selection. A child of the 80s, he immersed himself in the Portuguese Techno scene of the 90s, developing a taste that persists to this day. After many years as a listener and raver, he decided to venture into the art of DJing in 2020, taking his first steps at his own pace but always with a clear path towards his goals.

In this mix, an effort was made to maintain a strong presence within the techno culture. Expect a blend of tracks from the golden age along with selections from artists who, in my opinion, represent the future of the genre. See you on the dancefloor - Mário.

IWC hails from west coast USA. John discovered techno outdoors at a Freedom party in the mid 90s on a whim with friends, and was never the same again. Driven to understand the music better, getting turntables and learning to mix was inevitable. He then set off to find the magic machines from the vinyl music and build a studio of extraordinary magnitude.

This mix includes many favorites from back in the day. Records by Mike Humphries, Ade Fenton, Mark Williams, Glenn Wilson, S***k S***k that have been pounding hard for 25 years and cherished by friends and neighbors all night long, as well as later additions picked up since.

Trying to recreate that original party feeling of amazement and intensity in a mix is what it's all about.
