43 Kabataan ni San Jose Ang Manggagawa from different Barangay covered by our Parish participated on the Team Building held at Exotic Island View Resort last December 27, 2023. This is to water the blooming flower of solidarity between the Present of the Church —the Youth.
Parish Youth Council (PYC) would like to express our deepest gratitude towards our dear participants, thank you for spending almost a day with us, your presence made everything worth it. We look forward for more unified activities with you all.
To all people who took part for the success of this activity, Kuya Rommel Perjes, one of our supportive and hands-on adviser together with Ate Ilonah Jean Reynoso, thank you both for your dedication and every effort just to help us go beyond expectation, we cherish your every suggestion.
To our ever supportive Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Saturnino D. Rioveros, thank you very much po for your unwavering support on the activities of the Youth, for your immeasurable.
To our enthusiastic Parish Youth Council Director, Rev. Fr. Christian Francis T. Regencia, thank you po for being our guiding light, for your every effort and trust.
We especially thank Sir Mark Ramiro for his time, efforts and humility. Thank you, Sir. For being our friend not just for a day but for life.
And of course, thank you and congratulations to our Parish Youth Council officers for a job well done. Your efforts may not be seen but God will never forget to bless you for being a blessing.

Parish Youth Council (PYC) of Saint Joseph the Worker Parish attended on the first Diocesan Youth Day 2023 in part of the celebration of the National Youth Day on December 16, 2023 at Sacred Heart Parish, Poras Marinduque with the theme ALAB, aligned with the anchor verse “Mary arose and went with haste” -Luke 1:39.

Mt. 25: 31-46 | Solemnity of Christ the King

Ngayong linggo, tanungin natin ang ating sarili, ako ba ay kambing o isang tupa? Ang kambing ay puro reklamo at ang tupa naman ay tahimik na taga-sunod. Sa huli’t-huli dito tayo titimbangin sa kung paano natin pinakita ang pagmamahal sa Diyos sa pamamagitan ng pagsunod.
Hamon sa atin sa Solemnidad ng Kristong Haring Marangal na matuto nawa tayong maging tulad ng tupa na tahimik sa pagsunod sa kung ano ang tama at lumayo sa anumang masama. Nang sa pagdating ni Kristo ibilang Niya tayo sa mga magsasaya sa langit.
Kumapit tayo sa Kanyang Awang Walang Hanggan, tupa man o kambing, hindi pa huli ang lahat ang mahalaga ay manatili tayo sa pagmamahal sa Kanya at sa ating kapwa.

Mateo 25: 14-40

Ang bawat Isa sa atin ay espesyal sa mata ng Panginoon. Tunay na tayo ay ipinagkatiwalaan ng iba't-ibang mga talento at mga biyaya na maaari nating magamit sa ating sariling pag unlad. Ngunit ang mga talento at biyayang ito ba ay ating ginagamit ng may kawastuhan at tamang konsiderasyon? O ito ay ating binabalewala lang at ginagamit sa mga hindi magagandang bagay?
Batay sa ebanghelyo ngayong linggo, ipinakita dito ang pagtitiwala ng Panginoong Diyos sa atin. Ipinagkatiwalaan tayo ng Diyos ng mga biyaya at talento upang ito ay palaguin at gawing instrumento sa pagtulong sa ating kapwa. Higit na malinaw na ang mga biyayang ito ay bunga ng pagmamahal ng ating Panginoon sa atin, kaya nararapat na ito ay ating pamahalaan ng maayos, bigyang halaglqa at ibahagi sa iba.
Tulad ng ginawa ng dalwang alagad na pinalago ang ipinamahalangha salapi ng Panginoon, nawa ay atin silang tularan. Maging responsable tayo sa bawat biyaya na ipinagkakaloob sa atin. Sabihin na natin na Isa sa mga biyayang ito ay ang ating talento, maari natin itong magamit sa pagbibigay puri sa kanya. Kung ang mga talento at biyayang ito ay magagamit natin ng may katapatan ay makakamit ang ating banal na potensyal at tatanggapin natin ang buhay na walang hanggan.

[UPDATE]: RESULTS OF THE LAKAN AT LAKAMBINI 1st CANVASSING held last August 20, 2022 at the Immaculate Conception Cathedral Parish Mataas na Bayan, Boac, Marinduque.

Ang proyektong ito ay naglalayon na makalikom ng pondo para sa pagpapagawa ng Bahay Pari. Gayundin, para sa mga susunod pang proyekto ng Komisyon.

Taglay ang kanilang talento, suporta, at pagmamahal sa mga pari na naglaan ng kanilang paglilingkod sa sambayanan.

Atin po silang suportahan at tulungan upang maisakatuparan at mapagtagumpayan ang proyektong ito para sa ating mga reterado, may sakit at matatandang pari.

The Diocese of Boac (the Bishop, Clergy and Laity) expresses its deepest sympathy to the family of REV. FR. ORESTES MALVAR HUERTA who passed away this morning. The Diocese is grateful for the service and ministry that he has given as a priest.

Eternal rest grant unto him Oh Lord. And may the perpetual light shine upon him. Amen.

MARY, MOTHER OF THE CHURCH

Mother, help our faith! Open our ears to hear God’s word and to recognize his voice and call. Awaken in us a desire to follow in his footsteps, to go forth from our own land and to receive his promise. Help us to be touched by his love, that we may touch him in faith. Help us to entrust ourselves fully to him and to believe in his love, especially at times of trial, beneath the shadow of the cross, when our faith is called to mature. Sow in our faith the joy of the Risen One. Remind us that those who believe are never alone. Teach us to see all things with the eyes of Jesus, that he may be light for our path. And may this light of faith always increase in us, until the dawn of that undying day which is Christ himself, your Son, our Lord!

PENTECOST SUNDAY | JUNE 05
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ONE, HOLY, CATHOLIC, AND APOSTOLIC CHURCH

We're all familiar with our own birthdays, and we celebrate them because they mark the day of the year in which we entered into this life. But did you know you have a second birthday?

Because you are part of the body of the Church, Pentecost is the Church's birthday, and yours as well. And like any birthday, it's a cause for celebration.

The word Pentecost is Greek and it means "50th day." Fifty days after Easter Sunday, we celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles and their followers, and the beginning of their Earthly ministry to make disciples of all nations.

Pentecost is also a Jewish holiday, which the Jews use to celebrate the end of Passover. Jews celebrate the gift of the law to Moses at Mt. Sinai on this day. But we, as Catholics celebrate the birth of our Church.

At Pentecost, the Apostles and their followers were gathered in a room. Jews from all over the world were gathered with Peter, the leader of the Apostles and the Eleven. At this time, a great wind blew and a flame appeared as a tongue of fire, which split itself into many individual flames above the heads of all those present. The Holy Spirit came upon these people and each began to speak in tongues. Despite the fact many had no common language, they were perfectly able to understand one another.

Others who were no so blessed, accused those speaking in tongues of being drunk, but Peter arose and addressed the crowd, explaining that it was only 9 o'clock, and that this phenomenon was not intoxication, but rather this was the work of the Holy Spirit, prophesied in the scripture.

Peter then called all those present to be baptized and about three thousand people were baptized that day.

These people were among the first Catholics, and Peter is the first pope of the Catholic Church.

The symbols of Pentecost are the flame, wind, and the dove, which represents the Holy Spirit. The color of Pentecost is red and the priest wears red vestments on this day. Parishioners are also invited to wear red on this day. Red decorations as well as celebrations are appropriate, similar to any other birthday. Special prayers are often said just for Pentecost.
