Meet the artist Alex Shekshuiev 🇺🇦/🇵🇹 at in February!
Artist from Ukraine, working in the styles of academic realism, photo realism, symbolism and muralism. graduated from the Art Academy in Kyiv. He lives and works in the Algarve. One of the most famous paintings won the competition as a composition for the creation of a limited numismatic collection by the National Bank of Ukraine. The exhibited works were inspired by the traditional life of the local people in Portugal.

Very interesting order for a painting for the cover of the book. Creative and unusual challenge. I was faced with the task of creating the image of a holy girl who distributed food to those in need. The girl's face was chosen from photographs of the customer's friend, traditional clothes and open hands symbolizing the needy. It was a pleasure to work on this creative image.
