Yesterday, Portugal entered on the second phase of the Deconfinement Plan made by the Government. This means that bars, restaurants and pastries are allowed to work (with a 50% capacity reducement) and shops up to 400m2 are allowed to open to the public. You can also visit cultural spaces and museums, that are now working with limited capacity. But don´t forget the safety norms and always remember to use your mask 😷❤️

For those who don't speak Portuguese, here is a summarised translation of the measures that the government is taking during the current state of emergency in Portugal due to the COVID - 19. We hope you stay safe and believe that together we will come over this situation 🇵🇹❤️
- Only people who are infected with COVID-19 or are under observation by health authorities are subject to compulsory isolation, either at a hospital or at home. Failure to comply is a crime.
- Everybody else should stay at home as often as possible.
- Elderly people (older than 70) or people with limited mobility are advised to stay at home as often as possible and will not receive special treatment at supermarkets or other establishments.
- In general, all public-facing commercial establishments should close. Exceptions include all essential services, such as bakeries, supermarkets, petrol stations, pharmacies, newspaper stands, etc.
- Shopping centres will be forced to close. Only the shops included in the exceptions above will be permitted to remain open.
- Non-public-facing commercial establishments, such as factories, should continue operations.
- The government does not plan to ration goods. Their goal is to fight the virus, not create more serious problems.
- Almost all public services will shift to a work-from-home system. Physical attendance will only be upon appointment.
- Working from home is recommended for all businesses that can do so.
- All businesses that remain open must take precautionary hygiene measures for their employees and their customers.
- Banks will remain open.
