Ferrari isn't saying goodbye to the V12 just yet with the new replacement for the 812 Superfast, the 12 Cilindri.

Under the bonnet is a naturally-aspirated V12 with 830bhp and 678Nm of torque capable of revving up to 9,500rpm. The 0 to 100km/h time is 2.9s, the 0 to 200km/h time 7.8s and the Vmax is 350km/h.

The exterior design of the Maranello-based manufacturer's new car is reminiscent of the 1968 Ferrari 365 Daytona. The interior, meanwhile, is modern and reminiscent of the Purosangue.

Two versions will be available at launch, a coupé and a spider. Pricing for the coupé starts at €395,000, while the price of the spider version has yet to be announced, but is expected to exceed €400,000.

The end of the Lamborghini Huracan is nigh... and the Italian marque has decided to mark the occasion with a very, very limited special edition, of which only 10 will be produced.

Based on the Huracan STO, the Lamborghini Huracan STJ for Super Trofeo Jota is even more radical to mark the end of its career. The Huracan STJ is distinguished by its dedicated aerodynamic kit, developed by Lamborghini Squadra Corse technicians thanks to the know-how acquired over 10 years in top-level competitions.

The Huracan STJ is powered by a naturally-aspirated 5.2-litre engine developing 640 bhp at 8000 rpm and 565 Nm of torque, also at 8000 rpm. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels by the seven-speed LDF (Lamborghini Doppia Frizione) dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Mechanical grip has been significantly increased thanks to a series of four race-derived adjustable dampers, which replace the standard active components. The dampers can be adjusted in four ways to optimize rebound and compression at high and low frequencies, allowing total freedom in the choice of configuration to suit the characteristics of the circuit.

Tailor-made Bridgestone Potenza Race tyres are used to maximize grip on asphalt for outstanding performance.

To differentiate it from other Huracans, two configurations are available. The first is blue, with a black roof and contrasting red and white accents.

The other is grey, with a black roof and contrasting red and white detailing.

A carbon fiber plaque numbered '1 in 10' is fitted inside the cabin to underline the STJ's exclusivity.

Brabus has worked on Mercedes' flagship car, the Mercedes AMG S63 E Performance.

The plug-in hybrid powertrain now develops 930 bhp and 1,510 Nm of torque, thanks to a new engine mapping called 'Brabus PowerXtra B40E-930'. This frees up the power of the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine. The electric motor remains unchanged.

The 0-100kph time is achieved in 3.2 seconds, and the top speed remains electronically limited to 290kph.

New carbon elements make this Brabus 930 even more aggressive. The interior has also been carefully reworked by the German tuner.

The price of Brabus' latest creation starts at 405,000 euros.

British manufacturer Aston Martin has just presented the restyled version of its Vantage.

Under the bonnet is the AMG-sourced 4.0 V8, this time uprated to 665hp and 800Nm, i.e. 155hp and 115Nm more than the previous version.

These are enormous figures for the smallest Aston Martin. As a reminder, the DB12, equipped with the same engine, has a power output of 680hp and 800Nm.

Despite all this power, it only accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in 3.5s, just 0.1s better than the previous version. Vmax is now 325km/h (314km/h previously) .

In terms of design, the front has been completely revised to improve engine cooling. New headlamps have also been introduced.

The biggest revolution in this restyled Vantage is to be found inside, with a new console borrowed directly from its big DB12 sibling. It's about time! The previous generation was out of date in terms of multimedia.

The price of this new Vantage has not yet been revealed, but it should be in the region of €200,000.

It's official: 7-time British world champion Lewis Hamilton will join Scuderia Ferrari from the 2025 season.

Mercedes stated on its official website :

“The Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team and Lewis Hamilton will part ways at the end of the 2024 season. Lewis has activated a release option in the contract announced last August and this season will therefore be his last driving for the Silver Arrows.

The news brings an end to what is currently a 17-year long relationship in F1 with Mercedes-Benz and an 11-year long partnership with the works team.“

"Scuderia Ferrari is pleased to announce that Lewis Hamilton will be joining the team in 2025, on a multi-year contract”

Lewis said :

“I have had an amazing 11 years with this team and I'm so proud of what we have achieved together. Mercedes has been part of my life since I was 13 years old. It's a place where I have grown up, so making the decision to leave was one of the hardest decisions I have ever had to make. But the time is right for me to take this step and I'm excited to be taking on a new challenge. I will be forever grateful for the incredible support of my Mercedes family, especially Toto for his friendship and leadership and I want to finish on a high together. I am 100% committed to delivering the best performance I can this season and making my last year with the Silver Arrows, one to remember.”

A year ago, the umpteenth restyling of the Nissan GT-R was presented, but it was far from imagined that Nissan would sell so many of them in 2023.

390 units were sold worldwide in 2023 compared with just 57 in 2022, an increase of 584%.

It should be remembered that the powertrain and architecture have not changed much since the first version came out in 2007.

So, is this a paid restyling on Nissan's part, or is it nostalgia on the part of R35 fans? The brand has not commented on the massive increase in sales.

Despite a career spanning more than 16 years, the Nissan GT-R is still at the top of its class. But all good things must come to an end, and we're probably witnessing the last version of the GT-R 'Godzilla'.

This car will go down in automotive history.

Swedish manufacturer Koenigsegg has just produced a one-off model of its Jesko Attack. The “megacar” is made entirely of exposed carbon fiber, with numerous 24-carat gold components.

Only 125 examples of the Jesko Attack will be produced, and only 3 are made from exposed carbon fibre, including this Jesko Attack 'Gold'.

Another hypercar has already used gold on its bodywork, namely Bugatti and its Chiron L'Ébé.

The Jesko Attack was born for the track, as evidenced by its imposing spoiler providing up to 1,400 kg of aerodynamic support at over 300 km/h.

That's all it takes to keep the car on the ground, as the Jesko Attack is powered by a 1280bhp 5.0l twin-turbo V8 that can be boosted to 1600bhp with E85.

Owning a Bugatti Chiron is already an immense opportunity, but having an exclusive version is a privilege. A Singaporean brand customer achieved this privilege with one of three Chiron Pur Sport Grand Prix models created by Bugatti's bespoke customization team.

Like the other two Chiron Pur Sport Grand Prix models, this one pays homage to the brand's glorious racing past. On the door is the number 32, worn by the Type 51 during a race in 1931.

The Chiron Pur Sport Grand Prix uses the same four-turbocharged W16 engine as the other models in the Chiron range. Power is rated at 1,500 bhp.

So far, two Chiron Pur Sport Grand Prix models in addition to this one have seen the light of day, but Bugatti has not indicated how many will be produced, but it is likely to be a very limited number.

British carmaker McLaren is attempting to relaunch its GT range with the new McLaren GTS, a direct replacement for the McLaren GT.
The new GTS is presented by the brand as the most practical supercar ever created.

Under the bonnet is the same twin-turbocharged 4-litre V8, mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox. Power has been increased by 15bhp to 635bhp, while torque remains unchanged at 630Nm.
10 kg lighter than its predecessor, the GTS accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and from 0 to 200 km/h in 8.9 seconds. Top speed is 326 km/h.

But what about practicality?
There's a 420-litre boot located between the rear bubble and the engine, and a 150-litre boot at the front, enough to take you on a trip in style.
The lift system has been revised to be twice as fast as before.

With this new GTS, the British brand is challenging its compatriots Aston Martin with its DB12 and Bentley with its Continental GT, as well as Porsche with its 911 Turbo and Mercedes with its new AMG GT.

The Formula 1 season ended yesterday in Abu Dhabi with a victory for Max Verstappen and Red Bull.

At the end of the season, it came as no surprise that Max Verstappen was crowned World Champion for the 3rd time in his career, with 19 wins and 21 podium finishes from 22 Grand Prix.

A record for the number of victories in a season for a driver, Verstappen also set another record, that of spending more than 1,000 laps in the lead during a season.

With the two victories of its second driver, Mexican Sergio Pérez, Red Bull won 95.45% of the Grand Prix this year.

Carlos Sainz and Ferrari won the only Grand Prix that Red Bull did not win this year, in Singapore.

Red Bull took the Manufacturers' World Championship title, well ahead of Mercedes in second place and Ferrari completing the podium.

Ferrari has just unveiled the SP-8, a 'one-off' based on the F8 Spider, from which it inherits the engine and chassis.

The SP-8 is also unique in terms of design, as the car does not have a retractable roof. This aerodynamic modification required hours of development by Ferrari's designers and engineers.

The exterior paintwork is also exclusive, with three different colors specially created for the occasion: Silver Micinalised Matt, Blue Sandstone Gloss (carbon fiber part) and Dark Starry Blue.

The interior is also unique, with the F1 controls introduced on the SF90 Stradale.

The seats are in laser-engraved navy blue Alcantara with yellow detailing.

Designed for a wealthy Taiwanese client, only one car will be produced.

Before returning to its owner, this Ferrari masterpiece will be displayed at the Maranello Museum from 16 November until March 2024.

British manufacturer Rolls-Royce has produced a new limited edition of its Ghost, the styling of which is inspired by a solar eclipse.

As always with Rolls-Royce, luxury is at its height, as in this 'star' covered headlining. When the engine is switched on, a circle of 940 stars forms to represent the sun's corona, visible in the event of a total solar eclipse. The British brand takes things a step further, with this animation lasting seven minutes and 31 seconds - the longest possible duration of a solar eclipse.

But the details don't stop there, as the dashboard also features 1,846 stars. A 0.5-carat diamond is also featured on the dashboard, integrated into the watch bezel. It took the brand more than 100 hours to create this dashboard.

The exterior is just as magnificent as the interior, with its 'Lyrical Copper' colour and orange details reminiscent of the colour of the sunset, a colour also found on the interior.

Production of this Rolls-Royce Ghost Black Badge Ekleipsis is limited to just 25 examples.

Porsche is presenting the GT3 R rennsport, which, according to the Stuttgart-based brand, is "probably the most exciting racing car Porsche has ever offered to collectors".

Under the bonnet is a 4.2-litre flat-six engine developing 620cv and capable of more than 9,400 rpm. A six-speed sequential gearbox, taken directly from the GT3 R, sends power to the rear wheels. Michelin tyres had been specifically developed for this car.

The sound of this GT3 R rennsport promises to be sensational, thanks to a racing exhaust system.

An icon of the 60s, the 33 Stradale was one of the most beautiful cars in the world.

Under the bonnet, there's a petrol version with a 620hp 3L V6 mated to an eight-speed DCT gearbox. Alfa Romeo claims a top speed of 333 km/h and a 0-100km/h in under than 3 seconds.

A 100% electric version is also available, with 750hp and a range of 450km according to the WLTP cycle.

In terms of aerodynamics, the Cx is 0.375, which is very good for performance and perfect for the range of the 100% electric version.

The price is not yet known, but all 33 examples have already been sold.

It had been announced some time ago that Lamborghini would be present at the 2024 edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Lamborghini has now presented the Lamborghini SC63!

Presented at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, the car will be powered by a 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 mated to an Xtrac gearbox, a Williams battery and a Bosch hybrid box. Stephan Winkelmann: "The SC63 is the most sophisticated race car ever produced by Lamborghini and follows our 'Direzione Cor Tauri' roadmap established by the brand for the electrification of our product range".
"The opportunity to compete in some of the world's greatest endurance races with a hybrid prototype fits with our vision of the future of high performance mobility, already illustrated in road cars by the launch of the Revuelto."

Two cars will be lining up at the start of one of the world's most legendary motor races with the Italian Iron Lynx team.

Ferrari has announced the SF90 XX Stradale and Spider.

"XX' at Ferrari are more than just letters, they stand for performance at the highest level. Ferrari's FXX from 2005, FXX Evo from 208, 599XX from 2010 and the FXX-F from 2014 are all pure racers not homologated for the road.

Rest assured, the new SF90 XX Stradale and Spider will be road legal.

Compared with a 'classic' SF90, the SF90 XX is now 30bhp more powerful.

The car is also lighter, weighing in at 1560kg, but its main asset is its aerodynamics: according to the Maranello-based manufacturer, the downforce is twice that of the 'normal' version. The flat floor, bumper, diffuser and air intakes have been completely revised to enable the SF90 XX to develop up to 530kg of downforce at 250km/h, not forgetting the spoiler which alone would offer 315kg.

Performance-wise, the 0 to 100km/h is achieved in 2.3s for both versions and the 0 to 200km/h is achieved in just 6.5s for the Stradale and 6.7s for the Spider. Top speed is identical for both models, at 320 km/h!

Only 799 examples of the SF90 XX Stradale and 599 of the SF90 XX Spider will be produced.
