Am crezut ca acesta pictura va fi cea mai buna lucrare facuta de mine pana acum,dar cu cat ma uit mai mult la ea,cu atat acest sentiment se schimba😂. (“buna” insemnand sa fiu eu multumita de ea).
Sunt foarte critica cu munca mea si ma simt imprastiata in toate directiile🙈. E foarte greu pentru mine sa ma axez doar pe o anumita tehnica,de asta cred ca e foarte important sa ai un mentor,cineva care sa te ghideze si sa iti recunoasca abilitatile si slabiciunile. Poate limitarile sunt ceva bun in anumite cazuri si la fel si macar o bucata de invatare academica. Poate gresesc…oricum mi se pare tare amuzant ca scriu aici ca intr-un fel de jurnal.😂

Portretul e realizat allaprima intr-o singura sedinta..undeva la 9-10 ore de pictat insa face parte dintr-o lucrare mai mare.

Am sa postez si rezultatul final si ceva video-uri cu procesul iar d**a aceasta lucrare vor urma cateva picturi foarte colorate.(un alt experiment🙈)

I’ve finally completed this portrait of gorgeous Iza and handed it to her. She posed for me months ago and in return I’ve made this portrait for her. If anyone is interested to do the same,let me know for the future.😂Paintings really look so much better framed.

In sfarsit am terminat portretul Izei🥹 si i l-am dat. Ea a acceptat sa pozeze pentru mine acum ceva luni si ca recunostinta si multumire i-am facut si ei un tablou. Daca e cineva interesat de acest schimb,imi puteti scrie in privat pentru viitor😂 Nu voi reusi sa ma ocup de asta in urmatoarele luni,insa sper ca de la anul sa am mai mult timp.🎨

Expun alaturi de Sorana Scortea la Casino Sinaia incepand cu data de 27 iulie pana la sfarsitul lunii septembrie. Tot in aceasta expozitie se vor regasi si lucrarile mele de la Fii Arta(editia a IV-a).☺️
Programul de vizitare este zilnic intre 10:00-18:00.

Pour the ocean into my heart- Oil on wood (mdf panel) 100×80 cm🌊

A few months ago I did my first photoshoot with a model, lovely Iza who agreed to pose for me ad) We did multiple poses with different objects. For this painting l've combined multiple photos and added the background which is also a personal photograph taken in Nazare, Portugal. Even though I paint mostly faces I'm still drawn to the ocean and this is the result .We've visited Nazare a few years ago in search for the biggest waves in Europe. In our one day trip we weren't lucky enough to catch those 20-30m high waves but l'm sure we will visit once again this lovely place.😄

RO: Acum cateva luni am facut prima mea sedinta foto cu un model, imprena cu minunata Iza care a acceptat sa pozeze pentru mine.Am pus-o sa realizeze mai multe pozitii cu diferite obiecte. Pentru pictura aceasta am combinat mai multe fotografii si am adaugat fundalul care este tot o poza personala facuta in Nazare, Portugalia. Desi pictez deseori portrete inca sunt atrasa de ocean,si acesta e rezultatul.Am vizitat Nazare acum ceva ani in cautarea celor mai mari valuri din Europa.In drumetia de o zi,nu am fost suficient de norocosi sa prindem aceste valuri de 20-30 m inaltime dar sunt convinsa ca ne vom intoarce.😄

Aceasta pictura se va putea vedea in perioada 15 unie-14 iulie la Casino Sinaia (Sinaia,jud.Prahova) in cadrul expozitiei Fii Arta IV.

Finally done..this one was a struggle but more on that on a future post🎈

In Romania the bishop piece in chess,is called ,,nebun” which translates to madman.. fool..crazy.
Painting the chess pattern was a nightmare😂 don’t know what I was thinking!😅 Anyway…hope you like it!🎈

Acesta pictura se va putea vedea intre 15 martie si 19 aprilie la Galeria9 din Brasov,in cadrul expozitiei Tempus Vernum. Multumesc!🥹

I’ve called this one petrified.This is my attempt to create paintings with deeper meaning. Buuttt…it ain’t easy at all!😅 It all started from the face..and then the violet figer tips..that slowly cover and transform the hands,inducing a feeling of frost and coolness. Also the background scenery,that accentues that feeling..especially the dark clouds..that allow only a small touch of light to enter. The sholders are made from a plastic manequin that is stiff and emotionless.I guess I have to find out for myself,why I tapped the doll to the womb area..but I’ve had the same idea,to create a feeling of enclosure and balance that feeling with the look of her face.

For now I feel that I don’t have a finished idea for my paintings..everything evolves on the way..and if you’re wondering how I manage to create a composition..I often make it digitally first on my tablet,even though it is a rougher version.
I often feel really tired..and even though I enjoy thinking of more meaningfull compositions..I don’t see myself thinking before the painting..of every detail and explain to myself from the start what every element means and how it is realted and correlated with the others..if that makes sense😅
Also my confidence fluctuates a lot..but I think every painter experinces that🙈

This one is going to be at least interesting…😄🎨

I’ve almost forced him to sit for me!😂 It is really hard to paint from life,especially to find the time and the model..not even talking about rendering a 3D figure into a 2D painting that looks 3D(hope that makes sense:)) )
This was made alla prima(6-7 hours)but is a smaller size for me,only 40x40 cm.I also took a reference photo that guided me,so it wasn’t fully painted from life😄 Hope you like it!

I’ve repainted this face soo many times..it is crazy how much things can change during painting stages..

Short story about the doll.A local store opened recently and has a large collection of vintage dolls. I’ve passed by the store many times and finally decided to buy one. I will continue using it in my next paintings because it intrigues me in a way…it has some kind of stiffness,that kind of doll that was designed to be held on a glass case and never be touched😅

I’ve done this one from zero,without a propper drawing or a transfer. A progress video coming soon✨
I’ve almost ruined the whole painting because I’ve applied a coat of retouching varnish too soon and some of the darker tones weren’t fully dried🤦‍♀️
