A position on the film set that has to be experienced by anyone that wants to work in the film industry because it lets you be in the best unseen spot. Not the place for cables so we went full wireless with hma. Stereo set CMC 641 and C-mit 5u on boom working great in this wet enviroment thanks to blimps

It works both ways, our c-stand holds two booms and you can also put a third mic on a boomboy for use as a plant mic

I really like this c-stand setup for booms, very useful adition to our kit

Here we improvised a rig from a bar and some mic holders. Two Schoeps CMC 641, one of them on active cable.

Its hard to call yourself a soundman if you dont own at least a cat. Black or white or grey, blue or green as in studios, dead or alive, it works as long as you have a cat.

When you have to boom with the sun from behind and you shoot with 4 cameras can be quite challenging. Knowing the edit style and having some great boom operators like these guys, makes the difference. No wireless mics on this project.
